Morning PLMBL
Glad to hear your Ds and your family had a great day yesterday.
Hope you have another nice day today. xx0 -
Granny that is so funny that not only do our DS share the same birthday but they were born at about the same time of night too (albeit 22 years apart!).
Steph we have had another quiet day and haven't been across the door! NSD 4 of the month!
I had high plans of sorting out the 2 boy's bedrooms today but I have achieved precisely nothing! I've done some washing and some Beaver's stuff but apart from that we've spent the day watching a film and playing games. I've also caught up on my competitions though so hopefully something will come of that! We could really do with a cash injection or holiday!!
Snow still much the same as yesterday but a lot more forecast tonight. DH has an appointment with the psychologist tomorrow so I'm hoping we can get out to get there. If not, they may be able to conduct it over the phone or rearrange.
Hope everyone is tucked up nice and warm XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi, i've just caught up with the last 4/5 months of your diary. Having moved house, its taken ages to get the internet. You really have been to hell and back and your such a lovely person, you always think of others first and that shines thru. I am so so sorry to read of your m/c and all of the scans etc afterwards. I really do wish you all the best, love and happiness and i will be keeping up with your diary more now i have internet back and happy belated birthday to your little man x0

Hi Lucky, I hope you are keeping warm in this horrible weather. It's shocking here and it would be so easy to just lock the door and stay in, but I forced myself (and Mr Dot) to get the car out and go and see my DGS who is only 2 weeks old, then straight after on to MIL. So today we have seen the youngest and oldest members of the family. So you see, I have taken your comments on board and made a real concerted effort to see my little immediate family and I have to say that I am really glad I did.
I hope that Mr Lucky's condition improves now that you have got the meds sorted. Have you applied for carers allowance yet? It will stop you having to mess about with the dreaded job centre if you are granted it.
Take care of you
Dot

It sounds like a lovely day Dorothy, very brave of you to venture out. I've spent most of the day indoors, once I had sorted out wildlife and animal family that was it for the day!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Dot that's fab that you are embracing family, even if you did have to venture out in the cold! I'm very jealous of the baby snuggles
. Newborns change so quickly, I'm glad you got to see him.
Piq I don't blame you for only doing the bare minimum and then retreating indoors. According to the weather report an hour ago we are due at least a further 5cms of snow tonight but also gale force winds that will make everything even more treacherous
Re the carers allowance I have made the claim and received a follow up telephone call (think they wanted to check we really were together like we said we were :rotfl:). They said I will hear within 4 weeks of the outcome but to be honest I can't see any reason it would be refused as we meet all criteria.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Weather continues to be grim here but DS1's school is open much to his disgust!! Pleased we could walk there as there are lots of vehicles (including the binmen!) who are stuck/struggling/slipping and sliding. For this reason we have cancelled the psychologist appointment but suggested to the secretary that we happy to do it over the phone, so we are possibly waiting for the phone to ring!
I've already had one Beaver's parent suggest that she won't be bringing her child tonight so I've emailed all the others asking their intentions so I can make a decision as to whether to go ahead or cancel. I can walk there so it's no problem for me but half of the boys do not live in the village and may not come. Unfortunately I'm supposed to be having a meeting afterwards again so looks like I will be going out tonight regardless
I need catfood and milk as a minimum so today wont be a NSD but it should be a LSD. Was hoping to get to the supermarket today and stock up again but that isn't going to happen. Oh well, there's always the boys rooms to tidy :eek:Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

DS1 got out of school an hour early but they say they have no plans to close tomorrow so I'm a bit flummoxed as to why the early closure! That said, the boy can hardly see out of his eyes, they look red raw so he may well be too poorly to go in tomorrow anyway
.
Beavers is cancelled. More than half the parents replied saying they wouldn't make it. Shame I have to go out for the meeting anyway:(
Less than £5 spent at the local shop today. Needed cat food, milk, pop and a birthday card for my uncle who will be 70 on thurs. will post that when I'm out later.
Otherwise not much happening. Didn't hear from the psychologist XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
