It was just too much last night wasn't it - X Factor, Strictly and Gogglebox! Decided to watch Gogglebox, X Factor on ITV plus 1 and Strictly on catch up. In the end I fell asleep halfway through Gogglebox.

    Hope you feel chirpier today.

  • Hi lovely Lucky!

Glad you went to the doctors and have a plan of action. I hope the blood tests come out and point to 'something' - I'm not wishing you poorly, just that there is something obvious that can be fixed!! :D

Gutted about the game. Him had it pre-ordered and text me at work Thursday (day before release) to say 'it was at the national sorting centre at 4:06am. does that mean anything to you?' My reply was, yes that hopefully it should be on its way to our local sorting office... He said... 'Sooo?' and I had to disappoint him and say I am sorry but it won't be here a day early, you won't get it until Friday if that is where it is. He sulked... and didn't speak to me. Like me telling him how it was, was it being my fault?!?! :rotfl: Men, boys and their toys! Honestly...

I'm not a tv watcher; I find it hard to sit down for a whole episode of anything. I have to really gear myself up to it, and then i fidget and play on my phone... Lol.

Bath sounds lovely if a bit crowded... :rotfl: - tell me you don't get out and let them test it one by one?

Hugs, and hope you feel a bit better today. Birthdays are always a bad time, but the first one out of the way now... lots of love xx

  • That's funny about the bath - nice in a way that they all wanted to share. As you know it was so nice you know what to treat yourself to when you have a couple of quid spare and need a pick-me-up! (and use it when the others are asleep next time)!

Hope you get the result you want from the doctors - and if they do find anything that its easily fixable!

  • Evening all! Thanks for dropping by.

SA, I hope you managed to catch up on your programmes. Tonight's scheduling was slightly better but still not great!

Lilt, you already know I got out the bath after 5 mins to give everyone their turn :o. DS2 has come out in spots today though . Waiting to see if he gets any more before I decide if it's poxy or an allergy to the bath bomb. Gave him calpol anyway as he felt a bit hot and his eyes looked red, cross everything it's not chicken pox please!!

Nicky, the box had 4 bombs and a special soap in. I will definitely choose my time to use the others more wisely!!

Beanie, big hugs to you. 21 eh? Wowzers.

Today has been Sis's birthday meal. Food was gorgeous and she loved the photo cake we organised for her. My diet is shot to pieces once more but it's been a lovely day.

DS1 spilt his pop all over our broadband box tonight. Wifi not working now :(. (Doing this update on my phone with 3G). Gawd help me if I can get the internet back on by tomorrow. What will xbox/youtube addict DS1 do??!!

  • Since it was DS1 who broke it, I would suggest he sits tight and shuts up :rotfl: - try putting it in the airing cupboard if you have one. Or on a towel on the radiator and switching them on for half an hour.

Glad you enjoyed sisters meal and you deserve a blowout Lucky. As my mum always said, one meal does not kill SW, its 2 or 3.. or several times off the wagon here and there each week which stop the loss. So hopefully you will be fine. You deserve a loss after last weeks :D

And.. you're a better mummy/wife than I. That door would have been LOCKED and my earphones would have drowned out the noise outside ;)

Hope the router wakes up overnight! And the family do not ;) Sleep tight, I am off to go indugle on MOTD and Slated Caramel Haagen Dazs :D xx

  • Mmmm, Lilt, Salted Caramel HD is my favourite. Never tried slated caramel though :rotfl:, was it nice? :p.

Well DS2 has Chicken Pox. Not only that but he has one on his lower eye lid that is very nasty. Cue nearly 2 hours at the walk in centre, some anti viral medication and all of next week off school :A.

Still no internet. Fault logged and they've promised resolution within 48hrs. We'll see.

DH woke up on another planet this morning. He came round eventually but has been quite snappy today. He then told me I was 'scary' in my mood swings of late. Don't know quite what to make of that!

Consultant tomorrow for DH and possibly my blood results back from the doctors too. Then a Beavers Badge Night to attend. All good fun!!

    Hi Lucky, :hello:

Granny's right; it just never stops being hectic in your family - you're doing such a fantastic job keeping everything together!

Hope appointments go well today, and DS2 is not in too much discomfort..

    (((Hugs)))
