Endorse that..swimming would be great for Mr SA I am sure..
PLMBL..belatedly catching up. Huge apologies. What a few weeks..lord, your tenacity never fails to amaze me. You are doing great, holding everything together.
Hope the kids continue being OK with the new schools and routines. I hate the poor portion sizes and problems with a FSM not really being a meal, but agree maybe send in with some more biscuits etc as snacks if you can't lobby for a change the system.(which I suspect you can't ).MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Glad all going reasonably well and dinner for DS2 was good. DS1 meal also sounds good; any kid that leave a mini pack of cookies can definitely not have been hungry at all... or forgot they were there!
Enjoy the gym... I miss it so much!

:eek: to the crocodile dinners! :rotfl: Mine are having the free dinners too at the moment but their school only has cold stuff until the kitchen is finished which I think is probably better for ds2, he's a mucky pup and eats so slowly! I'm friends with one of the dinner ladies and she came over to me yesterday whilst we were waiting for the kids to come out to tell me that ds2 had been asked what sandwich he would like, he turned round and stated "a bacon sandwich please, and if you don't mind I need the toilet to make room for it so can you just put it in my place for when I get back" :rotfl: They all had a good laugh and think he's cute now
he sure knows how to charm them haha. BTW he didn't get a bacon sandwich he got ham to which he said something along the lines of "hmmm well it's not quite bacon, but I guess it will do" haha xx

Thank you for popping in brizzle, Lilt and DF(w). The last few days have passed without a hitch, meals have been fine for both of them (I did put £10 onto DS1's card to help him buy a pud or drink each day) and DS2 had his allocated 'long day' until 3pm today (for the first 2 weeks they only stay until 1.30pm, with 4 of them staying each day until 3pm so the teacher can get to know them better). All good stuff.
DF(w), your DS2 is so funny! I love how kids just say what they think! When we were getting changed at the swimming pool at the hotel last week, my DS2 came out with;
"Mum, girls don't have willies do they?"
"No, DS2, they don't"
"Well that's lucky I'm a boy then Mum, coz I like to play with mine"
:eek::o:eek::o
The changing room erupted into giggles!
Today DH and I made use of our extra time by going to the gym and then going swimming afterwards. I then had every intention of doing some ironing but it was so hot and sunny I ended up sunbathing in the back garden instead! You wouldn't believe that now though if you saw the rain! Wetting myself laughing at DS2 and dfw's ds2 comments. I cannot wait for Jellytot to be a bit further on in her communication. At the minute she is hilarious but it is all based on whether you actually know what it is shes trying to say...
"Hennnnoooo. Nice a neeennuuuu'' - (hello, nice to meet you), complete with hand held out for shaking
"pas de deux!!" - nope shes not so clever she is fluent in french ballet, this is actually what she says when someone has wind. (Pardon you!) Pardon me, meanwhile, she says perfectly, with the right tone of voice and everything...
She is very polite. Shes got Please down. 'Peas' Thanks.. 'Banks' and inexplicably thank you is 'kayqueue'. She usually trundles them all out when she wants something. 'Peas mummy! Banks, banks kayqueue!!'
I really hope I remember all of these things. Smippers, and gickets and towie's.. She doesn't say these any more and I miss them already!
P.s I am glad you were able to add money to DS2's card. That is a weight off your mind at least. I am loving the sound of sunbathing instead of ironing... Bliss! My ironing pile is hiding in the wardrobe and it can just stay there!

Very cute Lilt! Jelly is adorable!
One of the Mum's I know told me that she has set up an email account for her (now 4 year old) son. She emails him little anecdotes, things he does/says, photographs, anything she doesn't want to forget. She is going to give him the password when he's 18. I love the idea and I'm very jealous I didn't think of it years ago!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Jellytot has an email address too!
I set it up for other people to email her, my mum, her aunties and cousins etc... as we are far flung these days. I haven't emailed her yet though. Plucking up the courage... I could say a million things! I should probably email those sorts of things too though! The date she first went in the sea, (she was 6 weeks old :rotfl:) and where she can find the beach pebble with her name inscribed, and the date and place to mark it.
Tonight I told her that she was the most special person in the world to me, and there was nothing I would not give up on this earth to make her smile.
She looked at me, beamed and said "I know! FEET!" and went off into fits of giggles. Crazy child!
