Ahoy! Compensation getting bigger all the time.Still not fixed! Even after it was promised today at the latest. Now it is 'possibly' tomorrow. :@
Brother had a massive heart attack caused by a virus eating his heart muscle. After an infection of another kind stopped him moving hospitals, he has now been given the all clear to be moved tomorrow to go and have an angioplasty at another hospital. Sounds like grandma is in a similar boat. Sending her my love. Bro is only 40 so frightening as heck but he seems good. He feels guilty for taking up a bed :rotfl:
Wow to the cinema. I am so jealous. I wanted to go to see that film today as Tues are cheap at the local cinema... but even 'cheap' with pound store treats would be too much including £22 train fares, £8 bus fares etc...
Don't worry about tomorrows scales. Worry about next weeksLOL.
How is DH doing? How are you feeling/sleeping and are the boys sleeping better? Hugs!

Jeez Lilt, things sound scary re your brother! I've got everything crossed he makes a rapid recovery and continues to be well.
Grandma is in the other hospital and will have the angiogram tomorrow :T.
Another 2lbs on at chub club. I've gone back up into the next stone and I'm not having that, so I do solemnly swear to have a good week this week. No excuses!
Lovely day today with friends. We had a meet up with DS2's wee nursery (reception next month!) pals, first at a softplay and then onto a local park. One of DS1's friends came along too so everyone was happy. They were both wrecked when they went to bed so fingers crossed everyone sleeps tonight. DS1 has been having problems going to sleep recently, DS2 has been having problems staying asleep all night and DH has been very jerky. I have therefore been having problems full stop!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Cheers SA and sparky. DS2 woke once at 12.30am but other than that everyone slept until 7am so not too bad.
Grandma still in hospital but has been told her heart problems are to be controlled with medication and no operation necessary :j.
Today has been very spendy. Boys requested to go to soft play today instead of the National Trust place I had suggested. That cost £20 including drinks and a go each on the motorised cars/bikes etc. We then went to the school wear shop and bought the rugby shirt and football socks I still needed for DS1 (£24!), followed by a £45 spend in Mr A's .
DH has been snappy, DS1 has been snappy and DS2 has been quite angry too, so I took myself off for a walk round the village this afternoon. 25 minutes of peace and quiet was absolute bliss. Who cares that it started peeing down and I ended up drenched :rotfl:. I did worry about leaving the 3 of them alone but I knew DS1 would phone me if there was a problem. I needed time out.
A year today since I started to lose the twins. Aunt Flo is also due. It is perhaps possible that I have been a tad sensitive today.

Keep taking time out for yourself Lucks it is important, more hugs XX
Edited to add, damn that soft play is expensive! XXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Hello lovely Lucky. I have a similar anniversary coming up myself next week. Due date for angel baby. I must confess to finding my scan pic last week and having a real moment. I haven't really recovered in the run up to 'the day' so I am sending you my biggest hugest love and hugs. Not just for that but for living in a house full of oblivious men/boys.
Getting time out to yourself sounds heavenly. And so does getting soaked. I used to dress all in white and go out on my mountain bike on a trail through Sherwood Forest, hitting every puddle on the way for 7 miles. I would get home, literally wringing wet and coated in mud top to bottom, legs shaking as I stood up. Mum would let me in the back gate and order me to strip in the garden before I was allowed to run up for a shower. Nothing has ever felt as good as that. The white clothes went in the bin and with it my mood. Only once a year but boy it was good. So nice to know that DS1 is at the right age where you can leave without huge panic.
Buffy thanks for your love. Brothers news also good. Heart attack caused by infection or virus, no vein or artery damage and will hopefully make a full recovery. MRI scan tomorrow. Really glad about Grandma Lucky. Sending her best wishes!
Agreed btw, soft play  what an expensive trip! Was talking to a colleague and she was saying really if she plans a day out now, it never comes under £100 really. That is frightening.
Hugs Lucky... xx

Thank you for the hugs ladies and right back at ya! Think you both need them just now :A. I'm sorry for your loss Lilt but glad your brother is on the mend Xx
Grandma got home tonight :j. A bit worried that they have sent her home (where she lives alone) with a brand new concoction of tablets to 'try', but I'm trying not to dwell on the 'what ifs'.
Buffy, you are right that soft play was expensive, but it's massive and there was no time limit. It was £6.95 per boy and then I spent £5 on drinks etc and £3 on extra rides etc. The other one we go to is £4.25 per boy but there is a 90 minute limit. Lilt, £100 for a day out??!!:eek:??!!
Not been up to a great deal today, just to the newsagent to get 2 £5 meat voucher newspapers for Morries and then on to the Post Office to get my driving licence photocard renewal done. £20 for the renewal and £4.50 for them to do the photo and send it. I figured it would be £5 to get passport photos done anyway, and at least this way I'm guaranteed it's been done properly.
We've had a new addition to the family today, DH's cousin has had a baby girl. I'm looking forward to snuggles with her in a couple of weeks when we visit them on the way back from Legoland XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
