Slightly off topic now (can't keep up with the pace of the thread :)) but my DH calls moths "evil butterflies"! I think that he is genuinely scared of them. You wouldn't think a 40 year old 6ft 3in man could be scared of such small creatures. Does it make me mean that I find it a little amusing? :)

Oh, and another one here with uncontrollable curly (make that frizzy) hair. The tiniest drop of rain (or even mist) can undo the work of my hair straighteners in seconds.

Glad you had a great time Lucky - sounded fab! Well done with painting your granny's woodwork and your new tops gain. Boo to the weight gain but all in a good cause and you'll soon lose it. Good news on the debt front too - heading in the right direction.

I gave up trying to straighten my hair a long time ago. I just didn't have the knack. It's more wavy than curly - free range as I like to call it. Sometimes it looks ok, other times a mess. Any sort of weather affects it. And although I love butterflies, I'm terrified of moths - weird isn't it.

Hahaha! Sorry, look at all these curly twirlies out there! They say you're never happy with your own hair. can vouch ;)

Toe fur was an extreme example of the things people do behind their computer screens where no-one can see ;) Hahahaha. Pays not to be too judgemental on forums!

I like that, free range. My hair is more battery farmed if I am honest. I live by the sea, so it has just been in a permanent state of horror for 5 years :rotfl:

Lucky/brizzled. I use instagram on my phone to upload pics of the little un. You can use it on the computer too but my pics are all on the phone. You just set up a user name like this so it's anonymous really. And you can use the link to create a hyperlink on here.

Who is Crystal Tips? Has she got something to do with Rainbow Brite? Both of these things have come up recently...

  • So we all eat our crusts then if we all have curly hair :rotfl:.

    Will check out Instagram!

Dolphin you aren't mean you are normal :p. Moths are definitely worse than butterflies though, which is weird as they are basically the same just more drab and boring. Like me!! I'm deffo more moth than butterfly :o.

Today has been hot hot hot :T. Took boys to two different parks for some free fun in the sun and then called in on a friend for a bit. Still not a NSD though as I had to get some fruit etc and I also caved and got the boys ice creams from a van at the first park. Not one NSD so far this month .

I wouldn't go as far as normal. :rotfl: Actually, I don't feel too mean finding it amusing. After all, my DH does say that I look like Ozzy Osbourne before I straighten my hair. He does know how to make a girl () feel good. :)

granny it is scary what you know!

I struggle with moths too. They dive bomb me and I hate it. But as they are protected here, and endangered in the UK, I try not to kill them
