I love the idea of butterflies, but found during a visit to an indoor butterfly farm that large butterflies flying towards me freaked me out! I made a swift exit, leaving my two DSs and their dad to enjoy the experience.


Equally, birds flying around indoors have a similar effect.

You lot have some odd phobias. Weirdos :rotfl:. Only joking, who am I to talk, I'm the one with tragic curly hair over the age of 13 :rotfl:. Eee that's made me giggle!

So today we did Grandma's gloss work and her lounge looks fab :T. So pleased we did it for her. She also had a wardrobe clear out and donated some tops to me, it's a good job she is a young hip almost 80 year old or at 35 I'd feel even more tragic than my curly hair . they are all Per Un@ so I definitely scored there.

MIL and her gentleman friend took the boys to crazy golf today while DH and I did the painting :T

Tonight we've had my Mum and sister over for tea. Fab salad in the garden in the sun. Happy days Xx

:eek: :eek: Oh gosh!! When I mentioned tragic curly hair over the age of 13 I meant mine!!! And Jellytot's when she gets there since hers is a carbon copy of mine! I've massive hang ups from school. Half a tonne of product and curls are ok, but currently, it being only shoulder length, it does what jelly's does and screws right up to my head. Leaving me looking like a little old lady. (The greys help there too..!)

I am sure your curly hair is super delightful a la Leona Lewis etcetera, rather than my own chewed up poodle look. Cripes. Mental note: Think before type. You can't SEE the people you're talking to Lilt... They may really enjoy wearing mascara on their toe fur when you think it a bit odd... :rotfl:

Get in on the clothes from Granny, that is brill. My 84 year old granny has donated many an item to me over the years. And my mum and I keep buying the same clothes in Sainsburys at the minute, She's 32 years older than me! Looks better in them than me too..

Brizzle I wasn't sure about doing Edinburgh right at the start of the hols as it sort of leaves nothing to look froward to in the coming weeks, but then that's stupid because we have lots of lovely things planned, it's just that they are all close to home.

Lol Lilt, don't be silly! It genuinely gave me a laugh. My hair used to be gorgeous a'la Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (the real hair not the blonde wig :rotfl:). Recent stresses have left me looking a darn sight more frazzled now!!
