When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!!

Dolphin my OH has likened my hair to Russell Brand's - although this is first thing in the morning pre wash and blow dry!!!! And Lucky there is no way you could ever be drab and boring. Incidentally there have been some bright pink moths just lately attached to my front door - maybe you are more like one of those.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks everyone, hope you all have a good weekend too Xx
Today has been scorching again and we've made use of the Groupon deal we got a while ago for the farm activity place. We've been enough times already to have made the deal worth it, but the passes are still valid til November :T. Still spent £8 on extra rides etc though despite entry being 'free'. DH couldn't remember ever being there before. Don't know why I still get disappointed by that.
Got the tax credit award notice through. Bad news is that they don't owe us anything, good news is that we don't owe them anything either! Payments will continue as normal (well actually they will be £1 more per week).

Makes a massive difference knowing everything is ok doesn't it Mrs H?!
Today we took the boys to a park in a nearby town that has a water play area with sprinklers etc for them to run amongst. Perfect for this hot weather! And free :T.
Work tonight was pretty dead. Half of Newcastle have been at Ladies Day at the races and the other half were clearly having BBQs for tea not pizza!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Ah Lucky the park sounds lovely. We have those sprinklers down on the harbour. Took jellytot to play in them and she had a ride on a donkey the other day. Plus sides of living at the seaside!
Gutted DH can't remember the places you have been. My nanny has started with dementia. And she was busily telling me on the phone all about jellytot the other week... Then asked me when I was going to have a baby, as if jelly wasn't mine. I was so gobsmacked and hurt even though it isn't her fault. I kind of avoid conversations that may be difficult with her now and let her lead things. I feel for you. On the upside, at least he gets real enjoyment out of places and things as if he is doing/seeing for the first time!
Night! xx

Ummmm... Hi! :wave:I 'only' had 16 pages of your diary to catch up on!!!!!
Good to read up on what's been happening. Absolutely fantastic news ref the debt - paid back over £20k?? That's amazing!! Very very well done lucky.
Well done on the weight loss too. Yes, the occasional gain too, but hey! We only live once! Might as well enjoy
Glad to hear you finally made it to Edinburgh and the ZooI'm sure it was lovely to get that break away.
Trust DH is doing ok. A few panic moments over the last couple of months, but well handled, as always, by yourself.
One final thing. Repeat after me: 'ME'.... And again: 'ME'.... No matter what other crazy stuff is going on around you, you cannot forget about yourself. Please try and get some 'me' time as often as you can. We all need it for sure.
Love and hugs to you lucky. Stay strong - you are an amazing person!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
It must be hard for you with your Nanny Lilt
. DH has days like that and I know how frustrating and devastating it can be in equal measures. Hugs Xx
DH does get enjoyment out of things that he seems to be experiencing for the first time. I just get sad for him that he can't remember things in terms of the boys enjoyment etc, and I wonder how he will feel when they are all grown up and he can't remember their childhoods.
Today is a waves of fear and extra poor memory day. For example, boys are wearing matching t-shirts that we bought in Edinburgh precisely one week ago and DH has no recollection of buying them. We had some big rain storms overnight last night which have cleared some humidity but have brought clouds, so it's not quite as warm or sunny here today. We are supposed to be at a BBQ at 4pm so I thought we'd have a lazy day up until then and see how DH goes, but he is prowling like a caged animal wanting to go out. Think I'm going to set up the ironing board in the garden and give him the message that I'm busy so we aren't going out!!
On a money note, I usually put £30 per week diesel into the car. Last Sunday I put £60 in due to driving to Edinburgh but I wasn't sure how that would pan out. Today I have 50 miles left according to the dashboard, so it only cost us the extra £30 to do the trip :T.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
