Thanks everyone .
Well, I kept the top, I wore it today and had lots of compliments about it. I think everyone is surprised to see me in something which is not only colourful but it fits properly too!
Dropped the car off for it's MOT this morning and met my friend for coffee. Had a really good chat with her and I was honest with her about how tough things can be. She was very supportive.
Walked back to collect car and literally just got there when the Heavens opened. Felt like my lucky day as I didn't get soaked and car had passed!!
Massive thunder and lightening storm then ensued right above the house. Amazing to watch but I was glad not to be out in it.
After collecting DS1 from school we all went to the cinema to see the new Captain America film which was awesome. I had a buy one get one free voucher for the boys and I get in for free with DH's carers card so it wasn't too expensive. I took packed lunches for the boys as we were there over tea time, and DH and I ate when we got home.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Gym this morning then round to help MiL do a load of finance related stuff this afternoon. By the time I spent an hour cleaning out the cupboard at the top of the stairs and then prepping lasagne for tea, the day is gone!! NSD again though :TDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Lucky I'm so glad you had a lovely day with your new hair and top. It's amazing the difference a new top can make. In fact one of my (many) weaknesses is tops as they cheer up "bottoms" and generally don't cost that much. I hope you have a lovely low spend weekend xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

It's me again!!! Hope you have a brilliant Mother's Day tomorrow - you deserve it!xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks SA, you too :A.
Today started well, met my Mum, Grandma, Auntie, Cousin and nephew for coffee. It's nephew's 12th birthday tomorrow as well as Mother's Day so there was lots of card and present swapping. My Mum flies off on holiday in the early hours so I gave her her card and present (Euros!) today. It's also her partner's birthday while they are away so I got Euros for him too.
Then we got home to find a letter from DWP and they say they are sticking to their original decision for the Work Related Activity Group not the Support Group . It very helpfully tells us that we can ask for an explanation of their decision (why don't they just include it in the letter??) and that I can ask them to look at it again. I will do so obviously, but they are closed until Monday. Why does everything have to be such a fight??
Work was super busy and I didn't get out until 15mins after I was supposed to finish. I had just got home at 9pm and started making tea when my Mum phoned to say she couldn't find some paperwork she needs for her holiday tomorrow and could I print it out again for her as she doesn't have a printer at home. I thought I'd have enough time to do it while my tea was cooking so I went to do it but the computer played up and I took too long and burnt my tea. I think I should just go to bed and be done with it!!

!!
This new appeal system is called Mandatory Reconsideration (MR).
I think you should ring Monday to let them know what you are doing and follow it up in writing = I never trust the people on the telephone to write down everything you tell them.
Who helped you write the original letter, was it one of the employment places you had to go?
If you have time you need to look at the ESA descriptors to see which ones Mr PLMBL would meet to get in the Support Group and why and then tell them in your MR letter.
In our area MR is dealt with within 14 days (although there is no time limit really which everyone kicked off about and now the Government Ministers are saying they hope things would be looked at in 14 days).
I'll just go and see if I can post the descriptors for you.0
