When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!!

Just home from hospital. DH has had 7 seizures in 7 hours through the night . He looks like he has been beaten up as the first seizure happened in the bathroom and he fell against the door, stopping me from getting in to protect him. He has a massive black eye and bruising the size of dinner plates on his back.

I'm so exhausted I could cry. They have given him scans and he has caused no more damage to his head, but I'm amazed they discharged him. He's in bed now asleep. I need food, I haven't eaten all day. Then I need sleep once the boys are in bed.

Thanks MiT, that means a lot.

On a positive note, today has been NSD 1 for the month. Went to hospital via ambulance and MIL picked us up to go home. I didn't spend anything whilst there as the only thing I had all day was a cup of tea that a lovely nurse made me. Xx

Oh my PLMBL , what a day you've both had. I do hope he is ok tonight, and you both get a nights sleep. Things will look better once you're not so tired out.

Awful. Absolutely carp. Are the boys OK? Hope you had someone on hand to take them and help you out when it was all going on. So sorry and wish we lived nearer so could help you out.

Very best of luck with the next few days. Hope the night goes better than you think it will. Make sure you eat. ( that's an order;)) Know it's impossible in hospital but look after yourself as much as you can

Oh dear Lucky - so sorry to read your latest update!

What a terrifying and exhausting day you've had - hope the whole family is tucked up in bed by now, and everyone [inc. DS2] sleeps well.

Did you manage to return home with Midazolam this time?
..Strange you were talking about it just a few posts up the page - wonder if your subconscious noticed something in DH, and was trying to warn you?

Oh what a dayfor you all. I hope the seizure nurse contacts you and you can readjust medicine and have emergency one just in case. my hubby sleeps more after seizure and does not remember a single thing . wishing you all a healthy few days/weeks/months hugs andrea x
