  • I'm really annoyed on your behalf with Michelle Heaton! I know it's not helpful to dwell on negative things but honestly, I'm cross. Should I ever reproduce, none of them will going near a Wacky Warehouse either!

I'm so pleased your Mother-in-Law relieved you of £3000 of debts though, that is so lovely of her and so fantastic for you. As you say, you're much nearer to being able to pay for a holiday by yourselves now and much nearer to being debt free. :jYou'll be saving before you know it.

  • Ha, I do my best. :D

The holiday was great, a lot of pizza was eaten, it seems like a blooming long time ago now though! I've finally got over the jet lag but have spent the past week catching back up at work with a streaming cold. The joys. :rotfl:

  • Glad you enjoyed the holiday but sorry to hear you have been poorly. Hope you feel better soon.

Yesterday I decided that the reason I felt a bit down was because we hadn't been out doing anything fun for a while (any excuse!), so today we have been to the farm to get another use out of the season pass I bought earlier this year. We had a great time and as I took packed lunches it was all free. Today has therefore been my 3rd NSD of the month.

I feel much more positive now - or at least I did until DH became Mr Angry. His mood swings are getting a bit worrying to be honest and I've just had a word with him to ask him to be more aware of it. He used to be like this just after the accident and we had a code word which basically meant 'shut up and leave the room to calm down' without the kids realising what was happening. We've agreed to use that technique again to see if it helps.

On a brighter note, the other day my Mum and Sister both had a wardrobe clear out and donated their unwanted stuff to me. I weighed most of it in on the way back from the farm and got £8.75! Not bad for free money :D.

Hi plmbl, Just checking you are okay and find you have been a bit down again recently but it seems like the day out at the farm has helped you a bit. Pity about DH's mood, though a good idea to use the code word again.

£8.75 for a bag of unwanted clothes is good. I might do that with DS's school clothes I have found have been lurking in a bag in his wardrobe. He is in his 20s so I don't tend to look in his wardrobe. :D

Hi PLMBL Sorry about Connor that is a shame, but yay to your MIL. How very kind of her.

I hope that your appt about the MRI will get you some answers regarding OH condition. Could his anger be from worry about what they ar going to say to him?
