Still no news on the competition!! Just watched an interview with Michelle Heaton promoting breast Cancer awareness month which she is heavily involved in. I'll let her off as it's a good cause, but it'd be good if she could spend a few minutes deciding on our comp that ended nigh on a month ago!!
Re debts, for example, £230 per month will get us debt free in 32 months, yet £300 per month cuts that to 20 months which then goes to 15 months at £370.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Oh fantastic I hope you manage it that's be great to think you could be DF in less than 2 years
! Our DFD was 2019 before our stroke of luck ...you never know you may have a few more that will help you on your way
did your MIL take over an actual debt or give you £3k was just thinking you could have offered some f&f's on the smaller ones and be DF even quicker

Who's with me in signing a petition to get it re-judged??Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Lol. It's done now and they are presenting the prize to the winner today, so I'm not sure a petition would help. I'm annoyed with myself though as when they rang I was so busy trying to be a gracious loser, I didn't tell them how !!!! I thought it was that they had gone against public vote, and in future it should either be public vote or celeb choice. Still wouldn't have changed anything but it would have made me feel better :rotfl:.
Still have to tell Con he didn't winHoping he will be on such a high from his trip he wont care!!
Everything happens for a reason though. It's ok for us to have lost out on a £1k prize, as long as the universe plans for us to win the Euromillions tonight.

Have to agree that there is a certain amount of satisfaction in saying what's on your mind
He'll be gutted likely, but as you say, hopefully he'll still be buzzing from the trip. He's still first place in my eyes and we know how proud of him you are regardless of the big prize!
:rotfl: Have you bought your ticket yet?!?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Aww what a bummer Conor didnt win, But Hes still a hero to you guys !
When you mentioned watching Wallace & Gromitt with the nauseous child, All I could think was Wallace & Vomit ! ... random, I know, But sometimes my brain works like that .......... sorry, Ill get my coat ....Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Sorry to hear Conor didn't win Lucky. I don't think it's fair that they didn't go with the public vote. Oh well! At least you had some luck with the money from MIL. I keep thinking with all the bad luck I've had lately I should be compensated by winning something on the lottery! Can't even get a tenner! Sigh!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
