When I asked for luck I didn't mean the bad variety!!!

Evening all!
Well I'm just back from an unexpected shift at work. I was gutted when my boss asked me to go in as I really didn't want to in this heat, but having missed my shift on Thursday I couldn't miss the opportunity to make my wages back. It was really quiet anyway, but I'm limping badly now. I've had to stop taking my foot tablets as they aren't safe while pregnant and my work shoes crippled me. I really have to invest in some better ones.
Been less tearful today but more . I had a go at DH this morning which I feel guilty about now but he understands it's just my hormones. Infact, he's probably forgotten anyway! Apparently mood swings are very normal at this stage as week 7 is a key development week. Baby doubles in size and grows fingers and toes this week, so cute. Trying not to get too excited after last time though XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Ouch! Are they fussy about footwear or can you just pick something based on comfort?
Its amazing to think that you're cooking up a real person! I'm so broody myself, have to try and not let it show lest I terrify any new men I meet.

Hi Lucky
Glad your grandma is perking up.
Those pregnancy hormones are kicking in for sure! I was the same when pregnant with my daughter - I cried at everything - hey maybe you're having a girl!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Elphaba I have to wear black shoes or boots but I'm going to invest in some trainer type shoes and if they don't like it I will get a doctors note to say I can like in school
.
I hope you find the love of your life soon and have enough babies for a football team.
SA I honestly don't mind if it's a girl or a boy. As it will be our last it would be nice to see what having a daughter is like, however I love my boys to bits so one more would be fab. Last night I dreamt they sent me for an early scan to check the baby was ok and they said it was and it's a boy. In the dream I cried because I wanted a girl and it upset me when I woke up that I'd dreamt that.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Yikes - I had exactly the same dream about eight weeks into pregnancy with DS4! ..Must say I wouldn't change him now for the cutest baby girl in the world; the Power Above sent us the perfect child to complete our family, and I hope you will - years hence - say the same.0 -
I had two boys and thought that was it. Ten years later I had an oops pregnancy. Everybody was telling me it would be a girl, on delivery he was definitely a boy. I would not change him for the world, he's the icing on the cake. Yes I would have liked a girl if I was going for number four, but in September I am due to have a granddaughter, and I can't wait.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000

I will love the baby regardless of pink or blue. I wouldn't swap either boy I have already, and I'm sure I wouldn't swap whoever is on their way. That's why the dream was so annoying because I won't be disappointed with what I get, and the stupid thing is we have never found out what we are having before birth thus far, and I doubt we will with this one so the dream was irrelevant anyway!!
I met my friend's 11 week old DGS today and he is gorgeous! I was cuddling him thinking 'I can't believe I'm having one of these again'Afterwards we went to the park so today has been another NSD :j

When expecting DS I desperately needed him to be 2 DDs instead, to help me get over losing the twins 10mths before. When he arrived I so couldn't have been more pleased that he actually turned out to be 1 DS it was silly. He turned out to be such a delight that I wouldn't change him for the world and DGC are definitely a chip off that block which is why they are so gorgeous.
Dreams are funny things aren't they, I often have silly dreams that make me unsettled the following day, (usually OH has done something bad in them and I find it hard to remember it was a dream and have to try not to be annoyed with him, :rotfl:).
