Another long time lurker here - I am in awe of how much you accomplish each and every day! A massive CONRATULATIONS on your baby news, hope it all goes really well and you look after yourself! Are you still dieting??0

Hi Nicky
Thanks for the congrats! I'm trying to follow the SW plan as it's more a healthy eating plan than anything, however I must admit to a craving for bread over the last few days which has taken me outside of my allowance. I don't have a massive appetite at the minute but I feel sick if I don't eat little and often so I've taken to 'grazing'! The things I craved a few weeks ago - like coconut - now turn my stomach! At least that's better for the diet!
With DS1 my sickness was so bad I actually lost 2 stones while pregnant because I couldn't keep anything down. With DS2 I ate like a piggy, expecting the sickness to kick in at any point and save me from my weight gain - it never did! I gained 3 stone. This time I'm hoping to just be sensible.

sounds like a good plan to eat healthily and i'm sure a bit of bread wont do any harm! Hope you manage to stave off the sickness..0

Thanks. The sickness is quite reassuring so I don't mind too much.
Just spoken to my Grandma and she is really poorly. They think she has picked up a infection during her recent surgery to remove a cancerous growth. She sounds so weak bless herDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hello Lucky,
I used to be on this forum A LOT in 2006 & have recently returned as I am having a slow but surely building LBM. I have been reading diaries for inspiration & have been absolutely hooked by yours over the last few days. The way you write is so friendly and your cheeriness in the face of adversity is astounding & heart warming. You're an inspiration. I have a much higher income than you (I assume) and although I also have higher outgoings to boot, I am in awe of your ongoing commitment to debt overpayments. I have been so encouraged by your perseverity (not sure that's actually a word, but I like it). We are a similar age and both have 2 small children & debts, and although I have no experience with the daily struggles of living with a head injury, I did feel a real affinity to you.
Edited, due to too much personal info...
I guessed you were pregnant again over posts from the past couple of weeks (coconut, sicky etc), congratulations!!! We would LOVE another, but only have 2 bedrooms as it is, I live in hope though!
Anyway, lovely to 'meet' you. Keep on truckin'!

Hope your grandma's feeling better soon Lucky. The infection should soon clear up with antibiotics - you know I've shrunk the t-shirt with my experience of Mr SA's constant infections in hospital.
When I had morning sickness many many years ago - I found ginger biscuits helped. Also Rich Tea type plain biscuits.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Yoohoo everyone!
Scottishspendaholic, lovely to 'meet' you too. Bless you for reading my witterings and I don't know about inspirational, but I'm chuffed to hear friendly and cheery. Thank you.
Had a lovely day today. Both boys were at school/playgroup and it was warm but not sunny so DH and I decided to drive to a rather affluent area about 10 mins drive away and have a walk around to a) get some exercise and b) look at all the mansions and dream about buying one with a lottery win one day :rotfl:. Some of the places are out of this world! It's where all the footballers live and Cheryl Cole is buying a place there for £5m apparently. I found a pound on the ground and was thrilled, though DH was disappointed it wasn't a £50 note as 'they are rich enough to use them for toilet paper round there' :rotfl:.
We stopped at a cafe for a drink and I ordered a diet c0ke. I was thrilled when she randomly brought out a bottle with my name one! My real name not Lucky :rotfl:. It's the little things eh?!
By now the sun was shinning bright so we went and sat in a pub beer garden and had a treat of a sandwich and another diet c0ke. It was heavenly. Best part though was when my boss phoned and said not to bother going in to work tonight because they are dead! Feeling like :j about that now, please remind me of that if I whinge about the lack of funds on payday.
Grandma still sounds really weak. Doc has been out to see her again and they have changed her antibiotics so hopefully she will perk up with those.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
