Happy birthday to DH and happy 10th anniversary tomorrow. You are together and thats what counts so much more than the venue, especially with all you have been through. Cancun will still be there when you are df and Dh is recovered x

    :)

Glad you enjoyed FF6 and got your fix of VD and PW! ;)
Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out
  • Thank you both!

DH and I only exchanged cards today not gifts, but we've been lucky enough to collect £50 in cards from relatives. We are going to go out for a cheap happy hour lunch shortly and the rest will go in the new bedroom blinds fund :D.

And then I really MUST get back on the diet waggon :o.

I'm with you on that particular wagon Skint.

Lucky - think how fantastic Cancun will be once all this is behind you and you finally get there! Had to cancel two holidays this year due to Mr SA's illness but when he can finally go again it will be the best holiday ever!
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I'd much prefer that waggon too SBO, however I fear it will grind to a halt with my wide load on it if I stay on it much longer!

SA, agreed, the next holiday abroad will be extra special.

Had a gorgeous meal out today for the total sum of £25.90. 2 courses each and drinks (albeit non-alcoholic) so not bad.

Came home to an annual statement from Barcl@ycard which wasn't too shabby. Interest charged in last 12 months £0, paid off in last 12 months £1200 (could have worked that out myself considering I pay £100 per month!) and transactions £0. Only bad thing about it was that it still has a balance outstanding!! Still, 10 months left on the interest free period :D.

Weather is bizarre here today. We sat out in the garden after school/playgroup drop off as it was so hot and sunny. Now it's raining and threatening thunder. :( I want the sun back! 10 years ago today it was beautifully sunny all day!!

    Evenin' all :D.

Tomorrow is my 10th wedding anniversary. When we were on honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, we agreed to go back to our 6 star resort for our 10th anniversary. Oh well, Newcastle is nearly as nice :rotfl:.

    That's the spirit PLMBL!!! :rotfl:

But I am afraid it's not nearly as hot!

  • It doesn't seem to have any cocktail bars in the middle of outdoor swimming pools either Brizzle :p.

Thank you for the anniversary wishes Robin and DFW :D Robin, I'll be happy to take the big yellow ball off your hands for a couple of days!

DH and I haven't bothered with tea so I suppose that makes our meal out a bit more mse as our stocks remain undepleted! To be honest I'm feeling a bit off colour tonight but can't decide if I've eaten too much or indeed something dodgy, or if Aunt Flo is on her way (though she'd be a week early) or if I'm just tired thanks to a run of broken nights and early starts. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

DH has been sent his next ATOS questionnaire :(. I'm sure it will be fine (will argue tooth and nail if it's not!) but it's just so time consuming. Sigh.

Caught up on some comping tonight. Fingers crossed for some wins. And also for the euromillions. £105m should just about do it
