  • Friday again so a shift at both jobs done. Supposedly pay day for both jobs too, but as is the norm for job 1 I still havent been paid . 6th month in a row that there is some problem or other. The girl who pays our wages is on holiday so g0d knows when it'll be sorted.

Been feeling a bit :( today. And a bit sickly too _pale_ which is slightly concerning as it's been going on since sunday . Feeling a bit 'poor me' which isn't really like me. Need to pick myself up again.

DS1 went on his school trip and thankfully wasn't too 'swamp thing' when he returned. But DS2 fell down the stairs when I was at work tonight . DH was in the bathroom and MIL was watching the tennis . Apparently he has a scuff on his nose but he was asleep by the time I got home from work so I havent seen it yet. Just want to give my little man a cuddle :(.

Two glorious days off coming up though :j.

  • I got paid today :j. Rather strange that it should appear on a saturday but a lovely sight none the less :D.

Had a nice chilled out day. Did some tidying this morning, then the boys and I met my Mum and Grandma etc for lunch. Mum paid :) and then Grandma slipped me a fiver :A. I then took the boys to the park but it started raining so that was cut short :(. Mum saves her coins for the boys and she'd emptied the jar today, so we counted that when we got home. £28!!! That's £14 each and will give them a little bit of spends for a while :T. See how long I can make them make it last :rotfl:.

DH stayed home with his mate to start the tiling in the bathroom. They did the fiddly bit today so we should start to see real progress when they do the main flat walls tomorrow. Cant wait to get things back in order. They also needed more bits and pieces today though so another £33 spent :(.

I've been looking at our debt figures tonight and when I've made our normal payments for July (on the 9th) we will owe around £18700. Soooooo looking forward to kissing another 'teen' goodbye.:j

woohoo to getting below 19k. Well done for not paying 4.5k for the bathroom. Even if you do go over a bit your estimate, it will still be about 1 third what the plumber cost so still all good.

I really hate it when I hear about people having their wages messed up. If you incur any charges then you can claim them back off your employer I believe.

good luck with the next 1000 off the debt

Thanks Granny :A still feeling nauseous :(

My Grandma is an absolute star. She is one of the most determined people I know and won't take any carp from anyone, but on the otherhand she is so thoughtful & caring. She is my rock!

Oh dear, will be thinking about you today. Just what you both need when you are feeling so poorly. Big hugs honey, try to take it as easy as possible as I get the feeling the house would collapse without your strength

  • Thank you Granny and PG, your kind words mean a lot, especially today.

DH is not good at all. He asked me earlier who has been putting our new bathroom in (er him, for over a week!) as he has no recollection of doing it. He has asked me what day it is at least 10 times so far this morning and he tried to feed DS2 his breakfast again 5 mins after he had finished giving it to him the first time. It's like someone has flicked a switch inside his head and shut everything off :(:(:(:(.

I'm trying not to panic or get too down about it as we've been here before and it usually rights itself after a few days at the most, but on the otherhand it's been a while since it's been this bad consistently. He says he feels weird so I've sent him back to bed in the hope that he might have a sleep and feel better when he wakes up.

I'm a bit in limbo as I can't go out and leave him when he's like this but I've got 2 wound up boys who need to let off some steam. DH's friend is supposed to be coming to help DH do some more tiling so I might see if he minds staying in our house and doing some on his own so I can take the boys out. It's awful having to get a babysitter for your husband, but to be honest he's never normally on his own anyway between his Mum, his mates and I. It's days like this that I get annoyes he was turned down for DLA. There is no way he can function on his own.

On the plus side I have no time to dwell on the fact that I feel ill :D.
