Oh dear Be Lucky - just caught up... Must admit to thinking "Uh-no" when reading your penultimate post - poor DH and poor you! (((hugs)))
If there's a positive here it's that DH knew what was coming - is there anything the Docs could prescribe for you keep at home, that would help to ward off another seizure during the 'warning period'?
Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight (((more hugs))).

Hope you all slept well after your experience last night

Thank you for the kind word and hugs everyone.
Ok, so to continue from yesterday, DH had a lie down mid afternoon for an hour. I went in to see him and he said he felt better so I took him and the boys to MIL's for tea as normal, but warned MIL that he hadn't been right and to call me if she needed me. I'd only just started to help set up at fat class when my phone rang.
They'd sat down at the dinner table and DH said he felt weird, did the hand clasping and mouth chewing thing and then seizured. MIL grabbed him as he fell so he didn't hit the floor hard but he still managed to graze his face on the chair next to him on the way down. MIL has never witnessed a fit before and I think she got a shock, as did DS2 who was crying and asking if his Dad was dead . MIL called an ambulance and then me. I got there before the ambulance and put DH in the recovery position. It took him a long time to come round and when he did he didn't know who or where he was or who I was either, so the ambulance crew wanted to get him checked out at hospital. He started to come round properly in the ambulance but was also physically sick. We were at the hospital 6 hours but at least they did the blood tests he needed so he could increase his sodium and that meant we could cancel his appointment for today. His sodium is still low at 128 (they want 135 or higher), but as DH's has been 117 before they can't say that's the reason for his seizure.
DS2 had fallen asleep at MIL's so we left him there, but DS1 was still awake (at midnight!) and wanted to come home so we collected him on the way back (DH's friend picked us up from hospital ad we'd gone in the ambulance). I let DS1 sleep in this morning and took him into school late. DS2 is at playgroup now as well so we get some quiet time but I've told all their teachers that I will pick them up no problem if they need to come home. We all got a bit of a shock and they might need to be with us today.
I thought I was doing the right thing by playing down DH's symptoms yesterday as it seemed to calm him down, but I feel guilty about that now. On the flip side, I also feel bad that he seems now to seizure when I'm not there, almost as if he panics without me. I may well be talking rubbish there, but he said he thought he might fit again in the hospital last night and I talked him down from it and the feeling passed. I don't know how much of all that is coincidence.
Mum and sis were going to come for tea tonight but they've cancelled to give us time to chill out. I've also arranged with my boss that I can have tomorrow night off as MIL has a date !!! So DH and the boys would have been alone. MIL says she will pay me my missed wages :rotfl:.
DH seems quite good today. He has a headache and is tired/wiped out but apart from that he seems ok. He's gutted it happened though and depressed about the whole driving licence thing. I've contacted the Epilepsy nurse and I'm waiting for a call back from them as to whether we should increase his meds.
I've been running on adrenaline and I'm flagging now it's all calmed down. I didn't sleep great and I've got a banging headache. Paracetamol has been my friend this morning!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks Fortune Xx
Hospital have called back, DH is to increase his meds as of tonight so that's good.
Had a fairly chilled out day. Both boys managed their stints at school/playgroup, although the playgroup leader said DS2 had been a bit quiet and in need of more cuddles than usual.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

hope you have a nice peaceful evening after your dreadful experience yesterday. Poor DS2, it must have really frightened him.
Please don't feel guilty about anything you do as it is clear that you do the best you are able to for your family and I reckon you manage it all amazingly well.
:rotfl: re MIL, date and paying your missed wages.
