Grreat news about the carers allowance. It looks like 2013 is going to be your year and you're going to get the other kind of luck, I do hope so, you have struggled so much.
Did you apply for DLA as well. You'd probably get that as well. I know its to be changed soon to PIP but it opens up a whole world of help. It cant hurt to fill in the forms, you just have to remember when you're filling it in to answer the questions as though it's the worst possible day, confusion and needing help with everything.0 -

Glad you had a good weekend. Can I come for the next birthday party?! The food sounds yummy!!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Thanks Mara
Lainey I hope you are right about it being my year! DH is the one who already gets DLA and I've just been granted CA for looking after him. I of course already do this, and would have kept doing it regardless of getting CA, but now that they've awarded it I need to look into the impact of reducing/stopping the 10 hours per week that I work, as even that is proving difficult. Yes!!!!!!!!!! Woo hoo - fab news, thrilled for you.
I only came here to ask you how DH is doing on his manbike? Will we be seeing him on the tour de France this year do you think?0 -
Probably Dot! Though hopefully not in a mankini like Mr PG :rotfl:.
He's only been out on the street with it once in the 5 days he's had it! He's had the wheel in the cycle shop having something done to it. He said something like "I need the blah blah blah wigglewarms and zibzorbs blah blah blah" :rotfl:. The only bit I took notice of was that it would be costing me £7 .Debts @ LBM £23,729.31.
