Mine was worth the 5 weeks wait! OH had a claim on an old Egg card upheld too which was even better ... only took 8 weeks too! We must just be lucky!0 -
I rang on the 3rd January. Said I didn't have paperwork anymore as had buried my head in the sand of debit and could they check for me.
They took address details and told me that I had paid PPI but that may not be a valid reason for complaint but would send me the form.
I asked if I could have a number for Barclays Bank whilst on the line and was duly given one. When I rang them I was told they wouldnt inform me without a SAR. Asked for the address and then within 3 days had received a form from both Barclays and Barclaycard.
Filled in my details and personal individual circumstances and why I believed it had been missold. Posted forms and I had offers within the month and cheques a week later.
Everyone off my claims was paid within 3 months apart from the Bank Of Scotland who said PPI was paid but in their opinion was valid so said No.
Going down the FOS route with that. Got a few years left on DMP and can wait 2 years.31st December 2004 - Debt was £128,596.72
