From the brief:

Please ensure that you set your assignment date for when your call is made. Once the MP3 file has been imported you will need to e-mail us using the details from ‘Any Questions’ section and advise of your ‘visit date’, which will then become your new assignment date.

The MP3 file does appear to have been uploaded though, so hopefully everything will be OK - if the allocator actually checks and deals with his email! (He ignored one of mine recently, so I'm a bit worried there - I'll tell my friend to call him if he's not been in touch by about 4pm)

Gaaah, just had emails from TNS saying all my receipt uploads to sassie have been rejected as illegible -- apparently they need to be in PDF format now?

Can anyone tell me how to make PDFs without spending money??? Just converted one with a free converter but I need to wait 30 mins before I can do another one.

View through googledoc and print it to PDF. Alternatively many scanners create PDFs as standard

Thanks. Will have a go with the scanner first, that would be easiest if I can do that.

It basically installs itself as a printer - so you go to your photo, click print, choose doPDF as your printer and click OK (it doesn't literally print anything), it then comes up with a box where you choose what to call your file and where to save it, click OK and voila! PDF.

Thanks all. Can't get my scanner to do it directly (who'd have thought a £30 printer/scanner wouldn't come with options, eh?!?) so am trying the alternatives.

I want my toilet roll reimbursed, dammit!

Yes I got the same email. Bloody annoyed. I have been sending them receipts in JPG format for years. Other companies use Sassie and accept JPGs. Why do they have to make it so difficult for us??

Too right! I wondered that as well. Take it you didn't do their mortgage job? 16 scans I had to do! Then 16 crops (because the crappy old work scanner scans EVERYTHING, including the machinery!), 16 uploads to my home email address, 16 downloads and PDF conversions... Had the same thing with their phone shop visits, for one of them I had to go through the whole palaver for 22 pages of a questionnaire! Next time they've got a new project going on, I'm definitely going to ask if scanning's involved, so I know to give it a miss! :rotfl:

On the fast TNS supermarkets on Sassie system, there was a message and guide that the image upload had to be a PDF file to be fair to TNS, but it would be easier if this wasn't needed but I suppose thats what they want from us
