I've signed up for the pizza delivery assignment. Being reimbursed £12.50 but it will cost £16. Is that normal?
Thanks

Yes, however, if you do the "competitor"pizza jobs that usually show up they are a lot less!! Still a cheap tea if you look at it that way
And good to have another TG on board - this could get confusing!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
So glad I filled my tax return in online at the very first opportunity.
Got a rebate of £214 in the bank this morning.
It pays to be organised0 -

I complete the frontline focus pizza jobs and it's a fantastic fee and reimbursement compared to any of these pizza jobs of competitors and the lady for the client is absolutely lovelypizza is good too :T

I so need to be more organised! But I fear I will leave it to the last minute and then get lost in a flood of people doing the same and have to wait weeks or months!
Ah well.... I'll have something to moan about though!0 -
To me, really, it's ALL taxable, the fee and the reimburssment. So maybe a default answer could be, if you're not sure then tax the lot.
I disagree James. I don't like hot drinks but have to buy one for Abai petrol (so don't think I should include this as income). For Gap burgers, rarely I don't eat the full thing as I'm not hungry/do job for reimbursement only, so don't think I should include the meal reimbursement as income either. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thank you for your replies.
Just noticed the £5 deals come up for Monday to Friday so may order that.
The Tuesday Buy one get one free - might have to change my Saturday job to Tuesday!! At least it will feed the family!!!
Am I allowed to use offer codes or order more than it says (like double up on sides). Today my pizza and side comes to £7.99 but I need to spend £8.99 for delivery. Rather than buy the optional drink can I get something else?

TGirl
Yes you can use codes and order extra things/double up but only judge the items on the briefing notes.
although I would just double check the briefing notes as I once had a set of notes that said vouchers/coupons can't be used but in the other times, I have used them without fussThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Frontline focus....is that another one I need to sign up to? Is it eat-in or take-out?
Will it work if you be TG and I be TGirl? Will be pretty obvious anyway as I will be asking all the questions;-), well until I've got in the swing of it anyway.MFiT - T2 # 64start date: 1.7.09 MFW end date: 31.10.17

In those examples its clear the spend is incidental and therefore an allowable expense. I think he was referring to the less clear cut situations.
The ABA-i everything store is a good example here: If I just buy a bar of chocolate I can write that off as an incidental purchase but if I use the whole fee to purchase a water butte for my garden to catch all this rain to water my garden during the hosepipe ban or something then I've done the job to get a discount on an item I needed so the benefit I receive is taxable. If you buy something for half the fee you enter a grey area and unless you can prov beyond any form of doubt, keeping in mind the taxman can just decide your lying and there is no appeal, then the safest thing to do is pay tax on it.This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

as long as pay in reasonable time and i dont get too screwed on the exchange rate, thumbs up from me too
shame there is a limit on the jobs.
i recon they wont allocate backups till near the end of the period or someone else drops the job
Does anyone know how the Helion backups work? I wouldn't mind doing a few more of these and I currently have 4 backups pending. I thought the end day was yesterday for this so if automatic it would have happened by now.0
