Guys, See this is the issue it was a frickin sunday for the love of god... Helion were at least aware of the situation and reacted....

How many times have you all been deallocated stuff from gap or RE MFand the likes... or how many posts are there here about GAP assigning a job then deallocating said job after you have done the work with NO reason given.

I figured that the shopper in question was rude... companies aren't in the business of loosing shoppers but if your gonna get all uppity which I could tell from your posts on the forum that you were sending unprofessional emails.

Point is we are all self employed there is never a guarantee of work... Jobs come and go and sometimes glitches in systems happen... There is nothing we can do about this. I have seen large corporations like Xbox etc who have more resources then Helion have database issues and problems happen.

Vent your frustrations I sympathise with this... Im sure Helion do too. But to be sending the company nasty emails and calling them out for an ERROR which they admit to isn't the way forward and frankly its really unprofessional.

Sorry i'll get off my soap box I just don't like seeing a company who (i don't work for!) seem to pay well and come on this forum full of probably the harshest critics and admit the error and try to fix it...

Would any other company do this?

I did some work for them in January - we received the cheque 9 days later. I would give them a ring.
Thanks. I've emailed them so will see what they say. I don't remember having to send an invoice though.

Hi, I dont post much on here but am a bit of a lurker!
Regarding the Helion issue when i got the email which i appreciate as at least they owned up to their mistake, i went on and self allocated the same visit i had and ignored the other 3 in my area. These had been taken by someone else before me previously so I did not want to step on their toes! maybe i'm being stupid cos from reading here it seems a lot of people were greedy and have taken visits they previously didn't have!
(with the above i didn't mean any posters i meant people who have taken the posters jobs!- dont want to start a fight!)

Also agree with jen_br i've had gap deallocate jobs with no reason and without bothering to tell you- that's a lot more annoying!

I had self assigned a Helion job - got the email and tried to self select again but it said I had completed a job there too recently. However, I have never completed a Helion job before so not sure why it said that. I emailed and received a reply yesterday that it will be looked into so will see what happens.

I agree that there is never any certainty of getting any jobs - can be frustrating though when you have planned a circuit and it then becomes unviable due to one or more jobs falling through. But that's just the way of mystery shopping.

I had to invoice them - scanned and sent it by email.

jen_br, please refrain from posting malicious comments about something you know nothing about. It doesn't show you in a very good light and makes you look very foolish...

    Hiya,

When do Retail Active pay? I did a toy shop for them a month ago. I'm feeling a very skint girl.
Not been paid for the supermarket audits I did for Trendsource either.

Thats a bit the wrong side of the line kman.

You've been burned by Helion not Jen and reading your posts here I reckon you were probably more aggressive / disrespectful than perhaps even you realise. Take a breath rather than attacking all the time. All you'll end up doing is getting people upset and possibly getting yourself banned.

I get its frustrating, I'm going to be out of pocket on saturday at present as I lost both of my assignments but I'll find a way round it.

Either way, no one here is attacking you so take a pill and listen to frankie :D
