Were you rude in your email to them?
No, just pointed out that I had arranged my day to complete the visit, and now I would be out of pocket...
Like I said, a bunch of wasters... I'll be much better off working for the decent companies out there, and there are plenty of them about...0 -
I don't think they done it intently, I haven't worked for them before but they are always on here explaining and trying to put right if something has gone wrong and I don't see many other companies doing that? Sometimes things unfortunately do happen but they always seems nice and honest.0

Haven't worked for them for a while and probably won't bother now at this rate.Like I said, a bunch of wasters... I'll be much better off working for the decent companies out there, and there are plenty of them about...
Aww, poor little babies. Have we not had our nap today?
C'mon, give them a break. They ballsed up, but emailed everyone concerned straight away, and the head honcho himself was on here trying to explain what had happened and apologised for their mess up.
I haven't seen ANY other company do that before.
And isn't it fortunate that you don't get binned when you mess up a report, or cancel late.
Cut them some slack man, shi tappens.0 -

OK, so their system is crap and it doesn't work properly - hardly my fault. But to deactivate my account when I complain about it - no slack there that I can see...
In 7 years, I've never messed up a report and I've never cancelled one, so can't see the relevance of your point...
If you're just going to post by having a dig at more experienced MS'ers, you're just wasting your own and our time... :mad:0 -

If your email was not rude, then yeah, I agree it is pathetic for them to deactivate an account especially without a valid reason. I don't work for that company so have no idea what was going on!
A few people have said the same of RA, they had to cancel visits because the time range changed, and they all got fired. Crazy.
Anyroad, I am well excited as I have my figure painting shop this week. Any tips anyone? I'm thinking 3 cans of Red Bull before I go on so I don't fall asleep.:beer:0 -

What? Seriously?
Wow man, that's awesome. In 7 years of mystery shopping you must have done tens of thousands of jobs, and you've not once made a mistake, never had a report queried, and never had to cancel an assignment? EVER?
Jeez, seriously man, that's incredible. I take my hat off to you. You're obviously a very dedicated and professional shopper. Your employers must love you and have you at the top of their lists for the really good jobs eh?
Either that or you're incredibly full of !!!!!!.
(And winding up ickle cwy babies is never a waste of my time. It's what I do best:rotfl:)0 -

They're not too bad. It goes on for a bit, especially when they get the paints out and invite you to have a go mind. But just embrace the nerd inside of you and release your creative being.
The fee is decent, report not too bad, and the double reimbursement via ebay makes it all worth while. I did mine just before Christmas so got back pretty much what I had to shell out. There's a lot of geeks out there man, and they love that sort of stuff.0 -

You not applying for any this time round? Thanks for the info. Appreciated.0 -

I did but didn't get assigned any:(
So I went totally mental, smashed up the partly assembled model of HMS Warrior that I've been building since Christmas, snapped a banana totally in half without consideration of my own safety, and deleted Bare from my client list. It's just so unfair man! I've been alive for 36 years and I've not made a mistake yet. Why wouldn't they pick me!?

No, I've never cancelled an asssignment, I've refused to do millions, rearranged a few, but never cancelled one...
Messing up a report and getting queries are not the same thing. Yes, of course I've had queries, and thank you, I am dedicated and professional. It's just a shame that Helion aren't...
I'm sure I do get my fair share of the really good jobs...0
