  • Little late to the game, just discovered the Helion ****-up (email went into my junk folder for some reason). Two of the three jobs I'd got are now back-up only. I won't do the other one as I'd intended to do them all as a circuit. Consider me VERY hacked off! Shame on you Helion!

Hmm...That's kman on my list of people who don't bite when you try and pull their plonker. Where's the fun in that?

Most of the establishment would be spitting feathers now and going on about how they've all got me on their 'ignore' lists, so don't receive my posts (Yet still know what I've been saying somehow, hmmm?)

I shall have to persevere with Jedi kman, see if I can break through that mind shield they've protected themselves with.

    :)

I don't 'ignore' people however much they waste my time - you never know, one day you might post something that actually has some relevance or usefulness... ;)
  • Whatever, do you know how annoying it is to have diarised and prepared for a job, only to find that due to the company's error, they've been taken off you and gone to someone else? Apologies aren't going to bring back the money that I'd accounted for after legitimately accepting these jobs and doing the training. Very annoyed, disappointed and very unlikely to work for Helion again.

That is where the problem is.Helion allowing it to be a free for all instead of giving the people who had the jobs a timeframe to get them back.

How could they do this if the jobs had not logged on their database? If they knew who had the jobs in the first place then they could have restored them, obviously they didn't know who had them.

I am more than a little annoyed that they think it's ok to deactivate someone's account because they complained about the lost time and effort they had put in to accepting them in the first place. 5/10 from me and they only get the 5 because they put out a blanket email AFTER people started complaining.

I did not apply for any jobs in the first instance and I did not get any email from Helion. They must have known that I had not applied??? If they knew that I had not applied, they must have had some idea of who had applied ... This makes me think that something must have been showing up the the database.

Yes, its unfortunate; but its great to see a company actually post on here and explain whats happened. Thanks Ernst.

I've lost all 3 of the jobs I originally had self assigned and I am now just a 'back up'. I found on the last round of these jobs though that a lot of people must let Helion down as I was able to complete quite a few that I was 'back up' for.

I'm fussy about who I work for- Helion have good community managers, fair fees and always pay on time.
