    i always thought that the dirt was an layer above the wax layer, but even after i had my car supagarded it still needs a polish now and then.

    Chipz, I think you're thinking of the clear lacquer that they put on metallic painted cars. The dirt builds up on the lacquer. T-cut cuts away at this muck and exposes the clear lacquer again.

    You rewax as this adds an extra layer of protection on the lacquer.

    Incidentally, I bought a wax once that was made of beeswax. Anyone have a recipe for home made wax??

    I picked up the Safeway magazine when I was in there on Monday night & was flicking through it today when I saw a whole page titled What canvinegar be used for? I swear they read some of the tips straight off here ;) ;D

    cathy where you involved in 'how clean is your house'....??? ??? I just happened to watch tonight (8pm Ch4)

    they used vinegar and several other suggestions, that had MSE thread written all over them..... ;D ;D

    did you see the way the coke cleaned the burned pan!!

    eeww  now Im glad I dont drink the stuff

    which incidentally scared us all witless and weve never touched liver again
