this is my very first atempt at this. Good tip for cleaning windows. Add a couple of tablespoons of malt or white vinagar to a bucket of warm water, clean windows with this solution with a sponge and then rub dry with screwed up newspaper. result lovely smear free windows.  

just vinegar and warm water? no detergents?

I wonder woould the vinegar do for the pesky greenfly on my roses round me door???

ill give it a go tomorrow   much cheaper and nicer than

rose clear

just wondering before i do the rinse that I won't end up with blonde streaks in my dark hair

I read a post - I think Cathy's - where someone had cleaned their computer and it had come up great....but I can't find the post! Any ideas?

it was me and it was a damp cloth dipped in borax powder on a saucer

use a couple of capfuls of vinegar in a litre of water and pour over your dark hair, it will shine like sheet glass
