Work Programme Provider Pressure To Take Job

I have recently started The Work Programme and have been offered a job by the provider's advisor which I do not really want to take, mainly because it's night work and is a fair distance away from where I live. However, despite my expressed reluctance, the provider still insisted that I go for the interview. I think this putting unfair pressure on me, and so I would like to ask you all this:
If you refuse to take a job offered by a Work Programme provider, can they stop your money?
To be honest, I am feeling quite annoyed about the way this advisor appears to be pressurising me into taking this job, even when I have made it quite clear to her that it is NOT what I am really looking for.

You are on the work programme so you must be long-term unemployed? Therefore your JSA agreement does not revolve around the kind if jobs you really want or what you are looking for. Many people in work don't have the job they really want - why should they work to support you in your search for the ideal job for you? I dion't see any unfair pressure in the provider expecting you to look for work and if you aren't willing to take employment that is available, why should we continue to pay you?0

OP, you have been posting for months (years?) about being unable to get a job.
here is a job. As we all know, it is easier to get a job when you have a job, than when you don't.
Take the long term view on this one. JDI.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
get off your ar#e you lazy git and get working, by the sound of it you have had long enough trying to find the perfect job so now its time to take whatever you can. Whats your problem? Are you scared of missing Jezza?Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

It might well be a harsh point of view but the op has been looking for over a year now with little/no success and here's a chance of a job that they are turning their nose up at.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

Possibly, but that doesn't give rubbish like you the right to be rude.0

OP from my experience the job will be through an agency and probably only be temporary to perm, most of these night jobs are hard physical work and more than likely be busy and dangerous. I have never found getting a job easier when in employment. I too am on the work programme and did such a job for a shift when i had an altercation with the agency with regards to overtime.
The advisors on the work programme don't care what kind of work or interviews you are looking for they are target driven to get as many people into work as possible. Just play the system go to the interviews claim your travelling expenses.0 -

Do you realise that not everyone is suited to every single job? It has nothing to do with turning your nose at a job. I've seen minimum wage jobs which are 'better jobs' than jobs paying 25k. It seems people are looking at things from the wrong angle, and thinking that everyone is suitable for every job, and that certainly isn't the case. In the end, you are only poaching or taking jobs from genuine people who would be more suited to the job.
For example, lets take a look at your attitude. Would your attitude lend you to working with the unemployed? I highly doubt you have the tact to work with the unemployed.0
