    Aaaaaand I'm back!

Things are all a little bit higgledy-piggledy work- and money-wise. Spent too much on holiday (unexpectedly had to pay for a hotel room the night of the wedding), now I'm overdrawn for the first time this year :() AND I still don't have a contract, flights or a confirmed start date for my new job.

BUT I'm trying not to panic...

I just need to keep my head above water and spend as little as possible until the end of the month, when I get paid for some of the work I've been doing recently. And there's my tax rebate which I can finally claim in November. As far as the job goes, hey - that's showbiz! The ship hasn't given my troupe a join date for the ship, so until we have that I don't have a start date for rehearsals.

So everything WILL be fine, even if it isn't right now.

    Anyway...

Ireland was amazing! The wedding was amazing, the bf is amazing, his family is amazing and I'm head over heels with Ireland AND the bf (but don't tell him that :p). There were lots of jokes about me moving there, and it's a bit soon to be thinking about that, even if the bf did jokingly ask me to move in with him. *TOO SOON*!!!

    Goooooood evening!

Quick update because I'm shattered and I have work 7.30-10.30am/4-12am tomorrow

Got paid for a bit of work from last month, some cashback, some bingo winnings. For today only there is no D at the end of my bank balance :p between shifts tomorrow I have to buy my travelcard, a long-sleeved top and some comfy and waterproof boots for work so that'll soon rectify itself!! NSD today though:j

If I haven't heard about the job by tomorrow I'll send an email asking what's going on, it's driving me a bit mad!

Anyhoo, that's it for now. Night! x

Well done on being overdrawn for only the first time this year! Show just how far you've come from last year.

Glad things are good with the bf - don't worry noone here will tell him you said what you said....of course we can discuss terms on that later ;)

Hope you get the join date soon, nothing worse than the limbo of waiting is there.

Thanks Scuba, didn't think of it like that :o

Purchases today include my weekly travelcard (£35.60 ) and some new clothes for work. A long sleeved top, long sleeved blouse, brollie and knee-high boots for £33.50 :j chuffed with the boots, I'll be wearing them rather a lot I think! Only other thing is I might have to buy dinner tonight, but seeing as I'm doing an 8 hour shift on top of my shift this morning I'm treating myself :p

Next day off is Tuesday, bring it on!!

It's a different perspective, after being told I'm too negative I've been trying to be more positive - can't do it for myself but seem to be able to for other people. :)

An 8 hour shift after the morning one sounds like as good a reason as any to treat yourself - as long as you're not splashing out too much obviously.

Oh no, I'll have a £5 limit, hopefully pret will be open for a healthy salad. If not, a burger it is ;)

And I've been reading your diary, Scuba. You're doing great!

Burger sounds good - I assume the weathers as miserable in London as it is up here on the Penines.

It doesnt feel like it, but I guess it won't feel like I'm making progress again until I'm working, this month seems to have flown by in a haze of driving to drinking weekends and sleeping all day. :/

It's actually been ok in the SE, not as much rain as the rest of the country.

So today's and tomorrow's work have been cancelled, not great money-wise but my voice has been getting hoarse through doing so much promo work and it gives me chance to catch up on some sleep and friends.

I've done really well with money this week, still in the overdraft but as long as I stay careful it'll all be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine :)

The diet and exercise... errm, not so much :rotfl:been living on a lot of toast and cereal - not the healthiest, I know - and aside from walking and standing for hours on end I've done no exercise. Lost the Ireland weight so back to losing half a stone. Had one fast day this week, back up to two next week.

Tomorrow I'll be shopping (late afternoon in case of whoopsies) and blitzing the flat. Need to start singing properly again too. I sing all the time but I've been really lazy with my practice and that has to change!!

Good news for resting the voice then. :)
The weather's actually been ok here this weekend. My money situation isn't great at the moment either, got a couple of mystery shops booked but they're not well paid ones sadly.

Toast and cereal could be worse, but at least the Ireland weight has gone, I'm still up a couple of lbs after my weekend away last week. But I've started running again so hopefully it'll come off this week.

Running in autumn is so nice :) Fingers crossed you get the result you want!

I'm still waiting on a bit of money to come in from paypal and top cashback, and under £100 overdrawn so I'll take that for now!
