They may be alleged but there is very clear indisputable evidence that Kiely has been a naughty boy on at least one occasion in the past. Dispute all you like but unless YOU provide the same level of evidence other than being a new poster on an internet forum, because nobody with any sense is going to believe you and nor should they.

I find it very odd how you have stumbled upon this forum and this thread to defend a company you have no vested interest in. I myself had a good experience with my letting agent many years ago but i certainly dont seek out random threads, sign up to offer them praise and defend their good name. Why would i anyway? their reputation and consistent approach is all that is required of them.

Fined £2,000 for failing to comply with licensing regulations on one of his properties last year, sentenced to 100 hours community service back in 2007 for smashing up a taxi. There could be more.

I will personally continue to post at least once a week here and also why not start new threads on other forums...
I wonder if cowboy builders have a forum, I'm sure you would know right?

It's a known fact that there is always issues with payment from speaking to other trades that were there before me.

I know exactly where my standard of work is and it's head and shoulders above anything you have ever produced, however if you were unhappy with the work why wait 5 months?? Why not tell me? Instead you wait till I've finished a job and play the !!!!s trick of it will be on Friday and then don't answer the phone, not an ounce of compassion in you this close to Christmas and you know i have 2 young kids to feed....

I am sorry pal, just because i take an objective view on every situation i am not who you seem to think i am! i agree integrity is paramount but one can only keep their integrity intact based upon their perceptions and ultimately their beliefs. Beliefs are founded upon information, nurturing and experience but with particular regard to your situation it maybe that the information that has been relayed to the DM is inaccurate and you are misinterpreting his failing to pay as him having a flawed character and no integrity. The reality maybe entirely different in that the DM has made a perfectly reasonable decision based upon the information before him?? Unfortunately you have now jumped on the band waggon and caved into peer pressure and quite possibly ruined your chances of being paid.
My view is that there's only 4 foot between a horse's mouth and it's !!!! why not optimise the use of your time and speak to it's mouth. From where i am sat it is obvious, in order to alter the result you must alter the method but an absolute certainty is that you will get nowhere by criticising! On the basis that what you say is true in relation to your work,then you have to ensure that the DM gets the true picture, i still feel its worth a try. Your energy has to be better spent on getting your point across to the DM who can and will pay you rather than playing yet another victim on here, SO MAN UP!! Be careful not to play the victim too often or life is very good at making you the victim more often!! Good Luck!

Where as you only post on a subject you know well Brendan Kiely who featured on BBC Watchdog. You're obviously very close to Brendon, are you aware it's against the law to post on a forum pretending to be a satisfied customer when in fact you're associated with the business you're posting about?

I suspect not as Brendan appears to abide by the business laws he sees fit to.

For anyone that missed the BBC Watchdog feature on Brendon's companies, it basically was about Brendan's staff taking multiple deposits off different prospective tenants for the same property even though they had already taken deposits from other prospective tenants to secure the same property.
