I don't wear mine that often now with the almost warmer weather.....however generally it would be every other week.
I remember though, a few years after being admitted to hospital, I instructed my hubby to bring my lovely cuddly white Next dressing gown.....really lovely dressing gown, soft and fuffly with big fat CURRY droppings on it.....I'm still reeling from the embarassment!
ETA: I don't use mine when I step out of the shower or bath but rather put it on to slob in the houseThe shinbone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.:TBig thanks to all competition posters:T0 -

He was away last night so I washed it for him
:rotfl: yes my BF is the same - it was FOWL - I ended up buying him a new one so I could prise it off him and allow rotation.....but even now I have to tell him.0 -
I wear mine most evenings for slobbing about in.
Admittedly, putting my PJs and dressing gown on is one of the first things I do in an evening once I get settled in the house (sometimes as early as 5pm, sssh!)
It gets washed each time I need to top up a load, so maybe once a fortnight.
So.... how often are we supposed to change our underwear then?!0 -
I use mine twice a week but Ive always dried off before putting on. Wash mine every 3-4 weeks. OH doesn't have one and DD's gets washed with mine whether needed or not and just to keep fresh. To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

I wear mine every morning pre-shower. And at weekends all morning
it gets washed weekly... I have 4. One a man's with a hood, oversized and so comfy, one waffle shortie robe which I put on about once a year and then put on the man's one :rotfl:
2 silky robes for in the summer/holidays which get washed weekly too.
I would go to work in my dressing gown if I couldand if I worked from home I think I would wear it all the time :rotfl:

Not very often. I have a very strange attachment to my dressing gowns! My house is spotless, I'm always showering and wearing clean clothes, but there is just something about my smelly old dressing gown...
It ususally takes my Mum or sister coming around and pointing out it is dirty!
I just don't know why I've been like this about my dressing gown since I was a teenager!I'm never offended by debate & opinions. As a wise man called Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend until death your right to say it."

Mine gets washed whenever I want to wash towels and don't have enough for a full load...to be honest though it probably sometimes isn't even worn between washes, as I wear it so rarely. I prefer to slob around in pyjamas or big t-shirts and leggings. The most common reason for me to wear my dressing gown is if I'm getting ready to go out, have just had a shower, put on undies but want to do hair and make-up before putting dress on. So it doesn't get very dirty!0

Mine tends to get washed whenever it is stinky. I drop my dinner/tea/anything down it all the time, so it gets washed fairly often. Dan and I have two dressing gowns each so we can still have one while the others are in the wash or drying!0
