How often do you wash your dressing gown?

Settle a dispute between daughter and I please. :D

Quite often (about once a week) but that is because I wear it a lot and generally drop my dinner down it :D The husband is far less mucky and wears his much less frequently than I so his gets washed roughly once a month.

I wash ours probably once a month.. but I only have it on for a few minutes at the beginning and end of the day , don't sit around in it.

I suppose it depends how often you wear it! If it's just when you get up and before you go to bed then once a fortnight/month will do it. But if you "slob" around in it (as I do:D) then once a week.

I wash mine probably about once a month......OH hasn't washed his for the whole time I've known him....which is over 4 years.....He won't let me. He says he's got it to just the right feel. *shudders*

He was away last night so I washed it for him ;)

^^ This. So, if I'm busy sometimes only once every 2-3 weeks. If I'm less busy, and relaxing more, then once a week.

During the summer, it can often just be left for up to 2 months as it doesn't get used at all. The sun comes shining in, and our apartment often doesn't go below 25 degrees in summer (and sometimes as high as 34!!)!

Is it a bloke thing? Mine never had a dressing gown, until I upgraded mine for a 100% cotton one. Told me he didn't want or need one, but has proceeded to take over my old synthetic one! :rotfl:If it wasn't for me, that thing would never get washed! _pale_

When it needs it! So if it looks grubby, gets something spilled on it, or doesn't smell fresh. But I'm another one who barely wears a dressing gown - maybe once or twice a week maximum for 5 minutes if the postman knocks the door when I'm in the shower, or a kid needs urgent attention. I don't get undressed until I am getting into bed, and always shower and dress immediately I get up, so don't have a lot of use for it.

Almost never, but I only wear it when I've dried myself off after a shower and am walking to my bedroom!
