Although I didnt use faceparty for dating (well didnt mean to) I did meet my boyfriend on there and weve been together nearly two years. Ive never had any problems with the site.
Oh and I used to ski every day (was a ski instructor and on the city's ski team which meant lots of training) plus used to climb every week. Some of us do!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
I'm on most of these dating sites... but unfortunately I dont get alot of spare time to update my profile or search for suitable matches.
I usually have to rely on girls looking me up and sending me a messge... which errr doesnt happen very often0 -
Not sure how i should take that0

For single parents i'd recommend https://www.parentsalready.com.
We have a fab community on there, regular meets all over, and of course the option of arranging your own meets. I've met a lovely guy on there and we are soon moving in together, and planning a wedding!!! Loads of my P.A buddies have also met their partners on there. The only reason i'm still on there is cus i've made soooo many friends who i enjoy chatting too, male and female! It only £16.95 for 3 months and has been worth every penny.
Come and join us single parents, the more the merrier!!! If you do join us, pm me when you do and i'll let you know how to use the site and introduce you to some others on there!!!:j Egypt 10th May - Here we come!!!:j0 -

I remember an advice a friend gave me. She said,
"Most people you meet in bars/pubs are there mostly to have fun and drinks. Romance at work can become complicated. If you're single and would like to meet someone, it is best to look at dating sites or introduction agencies as both of you are looking for a relationship."
I heeded her advice and went on Match and paid £76 (no quidco, Pre-MSE days) but still in my opinion, if someone pays the joining fee then at least that person is sincere in looking for someone. You might get those free winks and smiles but then again, you can never get to know that person.
I met my bf through match.com and we have been together for 15 months now and counting... :happyhear
Im not promoting match there are a lot of dating sites out there. Just use your judgment and gut feeling .Do Something Amazing- Give Blood0 -
Hi
There should be a MSE dating site!!-we would all have loads to talk about!! and understand when the other person is in debt?
I agree about the point made about going out-people are so drunk...and often married and I hate cheesy chat up lines on a Saturday night when out with my friends.
I am single again now and my mate has rigged me up for mysinglefriend.com. which is £20 plus vat for 4 months of site use, which I think is pretty good value compared to others-but not subscribed yet-am skint.
I then had a peep at what match.com was like and saw my ex on the first page (with me edited out of his profile pic-lmao! at least he looks happy and relaxed)
I thought it was expensive and no profiles caught my eye.
So had a look at Dating Direct and have already had a few responses-just joined for 1 month though (being good with my pennies)
I am too scared to put up a pic yet though!I also am very sceptical if what they tell me is the truth(just from past experiences of men)(sorry to all the decent blokes out there)
Then went out on Sat night and was talking to a nice bloke.....who's a financial advisor....chuckle...now what are we going to have to talk about I wonder?Fabi x0 -
Another thing-what are the rules with this kind of dating?
What if you meet up and really don't like them but got on well via the site and email?
What if they try and snog the face off of you and it's not welcome?Fabi x0
