Perhaps you should have simply read the supplied instructions and set the time zone correctly rather than post your rant against Lidl. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I have exactly the same weather station but with a slightly different problem and since there is already a captive audience here on this thread and not much elsewhere on the net I thought someone might be able to help me ......pretty please.
The problem I am having is that the Relative Humidity (indoor) comfort indicator is not displaying and never has, the relative humidity % value is! Has anyone else noticed this or is it just mine.
Another thing I live quite near the sea and am not that much above sea level (Littlehampton, West Sussex). The relative air pressure tonight according to the Met office was 1002/1003 which is what I have set my station to. But the Absolute air pressure my station is giving me is 1007mb, that seems quite a difference! Too big methinks

To Guss, my weather station does not display the comfort indicators either although if you look closely at that part of the screen they are there but not powered. Nothing in the instructions that help either. As for the pressure differential the met office use calibrated instruments whereas the weather station is not and is for indication purposes only. If you want accurate pressure readings you will need to spend a lot more money for that0

I appreciate that but am curious at to why those comfort indicators don't show.0

Guss, just to make me look a fool the indoor RH dropped to 43% last night and the left hand comfort symbol activated which the manual says it will do if less than 45% but not seen the other one yet.0

Obviously your weather station is very depressed :eek:0

My thanks also Ellgin! I had the same problem and to be fair to Lidl they did try to find a solution and offered me my money back. The reason both Tilly 63 and I were unable to solve the problem was because there are no instructions in the operator's booklet to tell you how to do it! So Espresso I might be thick but I do need a clue as to how to operate these things.... Again thanks Ellgin0

Everybody: I had the same problem (but - in wintertime - +2 hours) and, after reading these forum entries, I realised the secret: when FIRST setting the clock, I had been ignoring the first item displayed, which was "01" and I had just gone to the next entry every other time. However, using the up and down arrows, I set it to -02 and it was then one hour slow, so I went back in and set it to -01 and all is now perfect:-)0

First of all, GMT no longer exists. This may upset a lot of Brits but they'll get used to it in time. It is now called UTC and time zones are now called Offset Zones. All this is driven by GPS technology where Yankees don't subscribe to GMT.
Because the clock is German based i.e. related to the Frankfurt radio station that updates it, Frankfurt is actually OFFSET ZONE 0, therefore people living on the offshore islands should set it to offset -1. Islanders will be relieved to know that London is still UTC, Paris UTC+1, Athens UTC+2, New York UTC-5, etc.
To do this, hold down the MODE button until the display changes to a flashing 2 digit number. Press the Down button (little triangle pointing down) until -01 flashes. Press the Mode key and go to bed. When you wake up the following day, all should be well, the radio station will have updated the clock while you slept, if not before.
Cunning or what? Or just devious Lidl testing you?0
