Evening peeps
Positive thoughts for Ed and hope the day goes well tomorrow Dusty.
Greenbee - sounds like your home is on a merrygoround. I felt dizzy just reading about the changes :rotfl:
Valli - it did make me think reading about the uniform thing from a teachers point of view as I know DD isnt capable of thinking for herself so I will chase things with her tonight.
Glad to hear you taking it easy now Lisa26 and hope youve warmed up.
Well I havent done much in the house today but I did take DD into town for new school shoes :eek: how much £40 for school shoes, nightmare but I would rather she had proper fitting leather shoes than plastic ones that will fall apart in a week.
Have done all normal weeks shopping and stocked up on packing up stuff, loo rolls etc so can remain at home tomorrow and have a lie in before work.
Hvae also done 3 loads of washing but only dried one on the line as neighbours decided to barbecue. We have a lovely young Lithuanian couple next door and its his birthday so they were having a bit of a party but I did turn down their offer of joining in the neat Vodka shots much to their dismay.
DD and DH are home so I have put the majority of their stuff away and added more loads to the washing pile. DH has now gone to work for the first of I dont know how many night shifts and I'm watching BGT, I could however do with chocolate, wonder if DS will get me some on his way home if I text him......Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
I took the tots for feet measuring yesterday. They only really have shoes for nursery, tend to play out in wellies or pumps depending on weather. DD is 19 months and shoes for her were £36!!!
They tried to tell me she had grown, put the new shoes on her and they were tripping her up!
So off we toddled to mothercare, I got her some leather strap shoes and DS leather trainers, then got me leather flip flops in the next shop, all for £32.
Anyway, I feel I've done nothing this week, but I guess I must've because we are not too shabby. Need to get bedding washed for next weeks changes, but other than that laundry ok, kitchen shines, bathrooms s&s'd, and tots have learnt how to use the rechargeable carpet sweeper lol, they think it's ace so I get it out every day for them haha.
They also helped put toys away tonight after trashing conservatory earlier...
DW been on, will empty in morning, and chicken out to defrost. DS wants "stuff" aka paxo as there's only him that eats it...

I took my lot for measuring a few weeks ago.. doodles and shoes for squeak.. shoes and trainers for DD3... thankfully DD4 gets hers from physio and Tiddles was ok.. but I can't get Clarks for her usually.. we are looking at DM's for her next pair.. we shall see how they fare. But £147 was more than enoiugh to spend in one go.. and DD3 wants Converse as well now.. might see if we can find some similar style but lower price as she is still growing!
DW on again...
Tipping with rain so I have 5 baskets overflowing in my kitchen again.
14 of us for dinner tonight.. Jacob ate all his apart from his peas without complaint which is nothing short of a miracle! He is a 'fries and coke' normally... not at my house chicky!!! lol

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
who the hell has pinched my get up and go!
seriously need a huge boot to get motivated again, i dont know whats up with me but i just cant be bothered to do anything. the kitchen is a tip, the living room soso, the ironing pile (ive no ironed clothes left at all so booked ironing collection to deal with that) the hall is a dumping ground of stuff to go in the loft, my room is a tip due to ironing pile and no storage space (2 chests of drawers orded and paid for delivery last night to sort that out) bens room is a tip with outgrown clothes everywhere that i need to sort out and lets not even discuss the room of doom aka my spare room, which needs to be presentable before my mum comes down at the end of the month.
i have to get paperwork in order as DH tax person is pestering me for stuff to do his tax return and ive no idea where on earth ive put them. they are hopefully in a crate somewhere so i need to find it asap as without this supposedly essential ticket stub its going to mean he has to pay tax so in mse purposes i need to find it or its going to cost us big money and im talking i can only dream about handbag type money http://www.mulberry.com/?gclid=CMiVwciNta8CFaYJtAod8SPhkg#/storefront/search/6515/moreviews/bayswater/ this and http://www.mulberry.com/?gclid=CMiVwciNta8CFaYJtAod8SPhkg#/storefront/search/5578/moreviews/bayswater/ doesnt even come close to the potential tax bill . can i just say though if DH had filed the bleeping things when he came back from sea rather than dumping it in my filing pile i wouldnt be having this problem!
oh i also have builders in next week doing the pointing at the back of the house and damp repair in a corner of the kitchen so im needing help on builder ettiquette. i.e do i point them in the direction of the tea and coffee and say help yourself or what?

I dont suffer from insanity....I enjoy every minute of it!!.:)0 -
I certainly haven't got your GUAG seafarer's ...
... I need to pick myself up of the sofa, move the washing into the TD, clear up supper and then make my bed before collapsing into it...
The clothes might not be put away until tomorrow...
I've been looking at daybeds online and am very frustrated by the fact that 3 foot beds are all on offer in the sales, but they don't have the 2'6" option that I need (the spare room is too small for two 3 foot beds to be out at once, although I'll measure again...)0 -
The shelves are up and looking good. Apart from hovering (not alas hoovering) I seem to have been cooking for most of the day, as usual.
At least tomorrow's day out is a change from the usual routine, but certainly not a rest.
Enjoy your Sundays.

Evening all!
Well done seafarer's wife - you seem to be cracking on with your list.
I've found this so addictive. I couldn't find my motivation for cleaning and I've struggled with it since I've been a SAHM with my boys for the last 5 years. Now, I'm struggling to stop. I can't believe I have let people in this house in the mess it was in - I just didn't see it
.
I've done okay again today:
[STRIKE]1. Empty DW
2. WM x 1
3. Clear dishes off sink and tidy counter
tops
4. Clean hob
5. Fold and put away underwear
6. HHI (at least
)
[/STRIKE]7. "Borrow" hoover bag from Mum
8. Hoover playroom
[STRIKE]9. Get the boys to make homemade card for Grandad
10. Tesco shop for friends
coming tomorrow
[/STRIKE]
Extras completed:
1. TD x 1
2. Pulled out fridge/freezer and cleaned underneath :o:o
3. Cleared off top of fireplace
4. Cleared off top of sideboard
5. Made all the beds (sometimes [STRIKE]gets[/STRIKE] got done, sometimes didn't
I forgot the hoover bag from my mums so that will have to wait until I can buy some on Monday
See you all tomorrow!
