    Morning lovelies!

    Hiya LL :hello: xx

'I'm on one' teenie taking the proverbial and I was ever so close to showing him the door!

    I'm gonna get a cleaner!

    and a housekeeper

    and a cook

    and a childminder

    and a chauffer

    and a tidyer-upperer

    and a bill payer

    and a gardener

    and a washer woman

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Have a nice day :D I'm off for a bit of me-time down the shops.

PS. I've cleaned both bathrooms, done washing/drying, been for petrol, gas/elec and bacci, fed the cat, loaded the DW and cleaned the kitchen, cleaned both ovens, racks, grill trays, shelves, made a small shopping list, and stripped my bed and remade it.

I'm doing nowt else! Laters :hello: x
  • Last weekend of the hols is upon us. Ds2 just up, preparing for a gruelling day on the sofa with a video game. Just mentioned guitar lesson later, prior to which he will have to take a shower, you would have thought the world was ending.

We have a day in London tomorrow, which means all the back to school prep will have to be done today. Also that I will have to cook meal ready for when we come back tomorrow, as well as cooking all today's meals.

Torrential rain here, revising plans for tomorrow to include less walking and more tube journeys. Boys will like that I expect.

OH is supposed to be putting up shelves in kitchen today, so I have to be on constant hover in case he decides to start.

    Happy days everyone.

  • Morning all

Quite bright and breezy here, but big black clouds lurking, been putting off hanging out washing but if no change for the worse I will brave it at midday.

    So far today I have:
    WM x 1
    Scoffed toast x 2
Watched 'yoof' TV prog to see if DD, who was in audience when it was recorded, was shown - she wasn't :(
Placed 2 bets on the Grand National :o
    Planned dinner (HM chinese)

    Pretty pathetic really

    To do:
Mega dust and de-web of landing, stairs and hall
    Wipe down paintwork
    De-clutter PC desk
Get DS to smash up PC desk (its kn*ckered)
    Pull up hall carpet
    Start painting hall

This is not a list for today, or even the weekend, but once it's written down it should be easier to get going.

    Bye for now

    Afternoon all

Calming vibes to all, there seems to be a lot of angst around.

Not done much so far, washing on the line, wm refed. Been to town with DH to open our ISAs, returned some library books, picked up an order and got some fruit. Need to go back down later when I have a list for a food shop and to visit the new bike shop.

Time for a cuppa and phone my mother. Hoping for an hour in the garden, we have some sun but it is very chilly. Need to make cakes for charity event tomorrow too - it is for Ed - Not much news, he is still with us and has moved hospitals to a specialist neuro rehab unit. Still no real progress but everybody will wait as long as he needs.

Hello all. Have done weekly shop, walked and bathed the dogs, vacuumed living room. That's about it. Just seen that someone is making cakes, think I will do that too, love baking.

Pollybear - I wear knee pads when washing the floors to save my knees. Got mine at the garden centre, and have been known to answer the front door looking like a skater!

    Catch you all later.

Fairly unsuccessful shopping trip, although I do now have a couple more watering cans, a new mop bucket, furniture polish and rubber gloves. I have polished the chest of drawers. One load of bedding has been washed and dried, so I need to get the next load on. The dyson has been given a bath and is drying... Unfortunately it means I can't hoover for a while, which needs doing badly, but it was so filthy it probably wouldn't have cleaned very well!
