Hi Lady Liberty. Delighted to see you post. Huge hugs sweetie.
I should be in bed but am feeling a bit wierd. My youngest son is 8 tomorrow - where does the time go?
I've had a frustrating week with teenage boys doing their best to mess up my plans and showing a total lack of consideration for my feelings. DH was, of course, away and preoccupied with work. I emailed him because he never responds to my texts and I got a phone call 8 hours later. It doesn't make me feel good to know that I'm so low in his list of priorities:(.
The house is looking pretty good. Our flinging in the littlies room has made the place much tidier. I will have birthday presents to find places for tomorrow!
We're taking the littlies to the zoo tomorrow for DS3's birthday treat. Many thanks to the tip in the MSE email that gave me the free kids ticket details.
Shall I go to bed or make the packed lunch for tomorrow..... Decisions.... Decisions.......?0 -
Morning All
I woke up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep so I've been up for an hour. I've just put the iron on so I'm going to do a bit of ironing - I've got a mountain and half to do.
Hi LL!
Have a good day all
Hugs

Just popping in to print my list again, left yesterdays at work
.
LL - Nice to see you popping on although I do "see" you on FB, glad our lovely Diva is keeping an eye on you x
JulieJim - Good morning, my ironing is the only thing on my Frog list (haven't actually sat down and written one yet):rotfl:
I am going to have :coffee: and then make a start at 7 on DD;s room, she slept in bed with DS last night ??? she tidied her room last night to the best of her ability so I now need to tweak a few bits, change her bed then mop, hoover and polish! So I will have HHC 7.00-7.30:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

HHC Starting Now............:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Carryin on with another HHC, wasnt prepared for the mountain of clothes she had lying to be put away
Still to strip & remake bed, sweep & mop floors & vacuum rug!
Off I go again,,,,,,,,,,,,:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Ok done all I can in DD's room, filled the steam mop up with water, ready to use after hoovering & sweeping went to switch it on and there was a big puddle on the rug   so I will now have to go and buy a new bucket for my mop as the old one was weathered and broke after being left outside  Will go grab a coffee before starting in a bit on the bathroom & lounge then get ready & go get a bucket!:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Morning ladies
Nice and sunny here today so I should be up and about but currently enjoying breakfast in bed before the peace is shattered when DD and DH return later today.
Lovely to see you posting Lady-Liberty, I am sending some positive vibes and spoons for you xxxx
Hugs for mumto5, its hard to see the babies growing up especially when you know theyre going to grow in to teenagers with all that goes with it! I am sure that your DH doesnt have you low down on his list of priorities, and there may well be lots of reasons why he didnt phone earlier. Youre a good mum and I am sure he appreciates it, men just have a funny way of showing it!
Greenbee - I am assuming you are feeling much better and if not thats a heck of a huge amount you plan to do today, you should really be taking it a bit easier!
ClaireT13 - family harmony - is there such a thing! Its wishful thinking, sometimes you have to ignore things and accept that they are the way they are. Otherwise you detroy yourself in trying to achieve that harmony. I had major problems between my DH and my son (his stepson) for a lot of years but eventually they have settled down and are almost resolved.
Well I got back late last night and came straight to bed. It was funny to see DH who it appears has been run ragged by the two 13 year old girls for the last 3 days. He looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders and said he was never ever ever going to take DD away again without me :rotfl: . I took him down to the pub for tea leaving the girls in the van watching back to back spongebob (which apart from swimming appears to be the only thing they have done for 3 days - !!!!!!) I think he now understands how hard it is for me when we go on holiday normally, as I am usually left to do the entertaining and it is hard work. Maybe all DH's should be left alone for a few days with the children
:D
I suppose I should get up and start compiling some sort of list of what I need to do today as I know I have to take DD into town when she gets back for new school shoes, she has been wearing her current ones on the campsite (er why !!! ) Theres also food shopping, washing, general tidying (although apart from the grotspots the house isnt too bad as noone here to mess it up) and return to school prep to do before I go to work tomorrow (2-7), dont want to be having palpitations like I did lsat time worrying about everything I needed to do.
Ok I'm rambling now, so catch you all later, Have a great day xxxMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Morning everyone
The sun is shining for what feels like the first time in ages :j
We are off to see my Mum and Dad today for my Dad's birthday lunch. Hoping his present arrives today - why do I always leave it so late and end up panicing at the last minute
We have friends coming tomorrow so by the time I go out it needs to be clean and tidy for tomorrow. This would never have been possible before I joined this group
:D
Today I have until 12.30 to FLY so my aims are:
1. Empty DW
2. WM x 1
3. Clear dishes off sink and tidy counter tops
4. Clean hob
5. Fold and put away underwear
6. HHI (at least
)
7. "Borrow" hoover bag from Mum
8. Hoover playroom
9. Get the boys to make homemade card for Grandad
10. Tesco shop for friends coming tomorrow
That'll do I think
See you all later.

Morning all - a sunny day here for a change! So the towels in the WM can go onthe line - don't think it's going to be very warm here today but it's the thought that counts!

Didn't get any other washing done last night (sheets washed and dried and upstairs dog bed covers!) so will get a load on before my shower - off to Mr T's then - I know how to live it up!
Off on a Beagle Welfare walk tomorrow at Stowe (in Bucks) - just a warning to anyone thinking of taking a picnic - although they will all be on leads! There seems to be a lot of interest in it - should be fun! Hope everyone has a good day!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
:heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:
I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy!

Raining here, so not sure when the washing will be done. Couldn't do any during the week with the decorating going on. I may have to resort to the TD.
Mumto5 - men have no sense of time. Mind you, I'm feeling the same about OH - he's off with his kids this week and I haven't heard from him since Tuesday.
Have emptied the DW and cleaned the filters. Breakfast has been made and eaten so I need to get dressed and then go into town to pick up my dry cleaning and do a bit of shopping.0
