Uugh just sat down for a quiet coffee and theres a scooter rally going by, there are literally hundreds and hundreds of them, and so noisy. We followed one into town yesterday and the racket was unbelievable, how can a manufacturer be allowed to make something that screeches so badly.
Anyway back to where I was, showered, dried, dressed, more WM and TD done. 1 basket of clothes still to fold, and 2 more to go in. DD is up but not washed and dressed, but havent seen or heard anything of DS &GF yet, and doogie has curled up beside me with her head on my lap wanting a cuddle. Bless her, I've only sat down long enough to drink coffee and eat a bit more of my Lenny Lamb that I forgot about from last Sunday.
Embb - if DD needs more hangers after adding 40 to what she already has, then she has too many clothes !!!!
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Well I doing well this morning. Second son didn't wake up until 10:D - he has never slept beyond 8 in 4 years and only that happens once in a blue moon. It's surprising how much more you get done when you only have one of then awake!
Friends still not arrived which is very unusual, but it has allowed me to be super ready :j
[STRIKE]1. Sweep and mop all the downstairs
2. DW
3. HHI
4. Put all
clothes away
5. Tidy playroom
6. Tidy garden
7. Double check
toilets
[/STRIKE]8. Work on frog list
9. Systematically clear dishes into DW whilst cooking to avoid it building up
[STRIKE]10. Prepare dinner - cut veg, peel potatoes etc[/STRIKE]
Think I'll use the extra quiet time to sort out Frog list and maybe (says in a quiet voice) if they go warly enough I may do another HHI - but don't tell anyone, it's a secret
"See" you all later!

Morning all, while it is still morning. Have been up a while and had a relaxing breakfast. Have walked the dogs and cut the grass back and front (and cut my finger, silly girl that I am). Am just having a cuppa and a couple of those cakes from yesterday, then will whizz the vacuum cleaner round the living room.Spend less now, work less later.0

ok load 3 of washing just about finished, kitchen looks like a chinese laundry at the moment but its all good as my stuff and the bedding (bar whats waiting to be dried) is in an ikea bag waiting by the front door. ive emptied all bins, hoovered the living room and hall. kitchen needs to wait till chinese laundry can be moved. just put ben down for a nap, so going to finish making my bed (just got duvet cover to go) and then put some lunch in and then mop the living room and hall floors.
plan for this afternoon is get downstairs done, plan for this evening is get bens ironing done, and then tomorrow i can start concentrating upstairs whilst the builders are in.0 -
Can I please please please join in again? My flylady-ing has gone so by the wayside, I thought I would be able to go it alone, but housework just does not come naturally to me. I love crafting and rather be crocheting or making a card than hoover or dust or iron. I need to get myself into gear again. I will be joining the new thread, if you'll have me.
Going to make a start on the kitchen now. Will set my timer for half an hour, I will be back.
