    Nice to see some returners.

Some April showers here, towels are wet so can stay out in hope.

    Must get moving now.

    Hi all

Just back from bouncy castle party, DS lounging on 1 sofa, me n DD on the other, think they are both starting to nod...

This morn I emptied DW to find things dirty. So set it on an empty clean cycle, and got my rubber gloves out to hand wash all. Shined sink, wm x 2 and airer x 2, and dinner made, along with extras prepped for tomorrow.

Tots are stuffed full of party grot so probably just fruit bread and milk for tea, we had a good dinner earlier though, with vegetables and everything!

Kitchen okish, lounge not bad, our room good, kids rooms one fine one rotten (but will tackle that frog with dd next week) bathrooms okish and dining room not too bad - utility is the big frog but contains most of school junk so still a work in progress. Have tootled around at flying in between back ache, playing with icklies and tummy bugs for the last fortnight.

Have managed to rearrange finances, budget and menu plan so getting there slowly - off to write a frog list to spur me on next week.

Good to see you're making the most of the new DW Valli :D

Just debating ordering a towel shelf to go above the bathroom towel rail... I have millions of towels (OK, about 40, but when I was going to the gym and office-based I used 5 large, 5 medium and 5 small every day!) so having bathmats and hand towels at least out of the airing cupboard would free up space ... I probably need to cut down on the number of duvet covers too :o

It's cold, and I've ground to a halt, so need to find something to do that will make me feel that I'm making progress...

Valli - Bolsover castle is one of our family favourites - is near my olds so we can go there with the kids when we visit, to escape.

Tea (chicken breasts) haven't defrosted so not sure what we're having now as lots of the alternatives are also in the freezer and I never like the microwave defrosting them tbh. Is weetabix ok for tea?:rotfl:

@Greenbee no progress here either and is cold here too. Will make us both a brew :)

Mum and I keep threatening to go to Bolsover castle but we've not made it there yet. We love Chatsworth and pass Bolsover on the motorway on the way there and always say we must pay a visit. We did plan to go in February half-term (mum works in school) but Mum had a cold and the weather wasn't great so we decided it was a bit too much or a trek!
