If you have proof i.e. Photos from estate agent advertising, then ask for the sockets back and fitted, or pay for the wall to be repainted.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
We didn't want to complete in Easter. My son is autistic so it was a total nightmare while he wasn't at school. I just think its wrong to leave the place with badly fitted replacements and big white squares around them lol. Who does this?0

In my opinion its annoying but not worth the hassle of complaining about.
I would just buy new ones and replace them all myself.Squish0 -
Yes, we have proof0

I was going on about the blinds because it's strange he would find a use for them unless he has exactly the same size windows lol. Also took all the light fittings and replaced those. It just said shades in the F&F0

would just take the hit to be honest. With all the stuff that needs doing when you move + your son, I think there's bigger fish to fry.

I would possibly suggest contacting your solicitor to see what rights you actually have - he may say - you don't have any as there is nothing in the contract, etc.0 -
Yeah, I'll just get on with it and perhaps mention it to the solicitor. Pretty sure that there's nothing I could do without a fight. Things like this just get to me as its a pretty !!!!!! thing to do really. I thoroughly checked the list and it had the leaving sockets and switches as ticked.0

It is a pain especially not "making good" after removing them. It's really not worth the hassle though, move on & enjoy your new home. Best of luck. :-)0

Does it come with an electrical safety certificate for the new wiring fittings ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Nope, no safety certs. One is wobbling lol. I have trouble of letting go lol. Love the place and the area, it's fantastic! I should just be grateful the threats of pulling out further down the chain didn't happen lol.0
