  • I have just had the longest wait and patronising phone call of my life from 2 really rude American guys who would not listen to me when I said"I want to cancel my order please". Couldnt get thru to 1st guy so asked for the manager who came on and was extremely patronising and very very very very persistant. I must of been on the phone for a good hour all in all. After he told me to stop talking over him.Anyway I eventually managed to get him to agree to cancel my order but am still awaiting a confirmation email to this effect.
  • I can't believe these people are allowed to get away with selling products that don't work. I read the small print prior to buying so was fully aware of the cancellation policy.
Again like others I am not usually sucked in to these deals, though as well known newspapers were quoted and there was an article from a BBC worker who trialled the products and said she'd lost a stone in a week, I naively fell for this.
I guess the pictures they post of people that have lost weight and the article must be false. I only received the products a couple of days ago but contacted them to cancel, as I don't want any payments being deducted. I spoke with an American guy called Omar who I was only on the phone to for ten minutes (luckily) at first he said he could not cancell so soon as I had only had them a couple of days and hadn't given the trial a fair go. He said he would extend the trial by another 14 days, I said no, and kept repeating that I just wanted to cancel. Omar was very persistant, though agreed to cancel when I said I would cancel my card. I recieved an email shortly after, stating the total cleanse had been cancelled, but not stating the i force maxx.
I then contacted the other number, although they are the same company ( I didn't catch his name this time) he said I would receive another email cancelling both of them.

Although no more money had been taken out of my account (yet) and I have received a cancellation notice, do you feel I should cancel my card just in case.

Many thanks Emma. (sorry for the long post)

Previous posters have contacted their card issuer and persuaded them to reject any further requests for payment. We didn't think of doing this at the time, but we've had no further payments taken.
    Wearing my other one today.
  • i done the same as every1 else i went through the emails today and gave them a call straight away the guy i spoke to about the iforce maxx said that i could not cancel an would run my trial for anothe 28 days! i rang the other company about the other pills and said i wanted to cancel becuase it was in the 14 day period... the lady said they were both cancelled and that was that. she said i would recive an email which i havent gotten yet they did not say i had to send anything back which is unusuall because every1 elses comments say they had to send something back i am going to wait till lunch time and give call back and will say that if anymoney does come out i will take things further..

I was just about to get caught by this but decided to google 'iforce maxx' and one of the first links to come up in the search results was this thread. So hopefully others will do the same and at least if any good comes of all your experiences it'll be that this company is $$$$ down as everyone will know they're a scam!

Its sad really, from what I've seen online it appears this product, and the Total Cleanse, do actually work (unless I'm just being fooled again by the before/after pics). Why they couldn't just go about their sales in a legit way is beyond me. If you have a good product, you don't have to scam people into paying for it, particularly when it involves weight-loss - people will pay good money for something to help them loose weight/stop smoking/have perfect skin etc.

Anyway even if the product does actually work the company won't benefit from it because all their customers will have sent the unopened bottles back to them the minute they've realised its a scam.

This company is even worse than I thought!! Just tried to close the two browser tabs I had open for the I Force Maxx & Total Cleanse websites and it opens a pop-up 'Are you sure you don't want to take this amazing free trial? We have a live chat agent waiting to speak to you'

I was also looking at the website for the supposed channel4 news trial of the product. I assumed at first this was a genuine news channel in the states, but when you try looking at other stories on the site you get re-directed to the i Force Maxx site!

This company must have actually purchased the 'channel4online.co.uk' domain with the intention of creating a fake trial by a newsreader.
If you actually try typing 'channel4online.co.uk' into your browser it then re-directs you to a site trying to sell skin products for a shipping fee of $2.95 - we can all guess what'll happen if you order those!

This scam is bigger & more sinister than I thought!
  • I'm not normally sucked into these things but I lost all my confidence after my son was born so was desperate for a quick fix. I googled iforce MAXX and saw this forum, I'm gutted I fell for it (along with slim cleanse and slim lean or something : / )

I contacted my bank who said there would no point in cancelling my card because they can still request the amount and I'll get in trouble of breach of contract. They advised me to cancel and should they try and take any money from me then I can claim for fraud.

So I contacted both companies. After reading the problems people have had from the call centre I fibbed a bit and said they were ordered by a family member without my permission (avoided the hassle!!) as I only received the items today iforce MAXX told me I couldn't cancel it yet because it's too early and to call back on 14th may the day before they are due to take the full amount. Apparently they have extended this date however to 30th may.

The other company cancelled it immediately and gave me a cancellation code. They advised me an email confirming this would be sent to me ut I hae nothing yet.

Neither have said to return the items. The slim cleanse company are charging me £1.99 per item to cancel it.

I feel unsettled that everyone seems to be getting conflicting information from them. What should I do?????
  • I've just been sucked into this scam and I'm gutted, why didn't I do research on this product? I'm sooooooo stupid. Is it more adviseable to contact my bank to either cancel my debit card or to try to cancel further transactions from this company?

I wanted a bit of a boost to kick start me into losing weight and thought this seemed like the ideal thing to help me and what a bargain at postage costs only and, then being the numpty thatI am ordered the colon cleansing tablets as well, double whammy!!!!!

I would appreciate any advice that anyone could give me, I ordered this "great" offer an hour ago and hindsight is definately a wonderful thing. Just goes to show how valuable a site this is, should of looked at this before my monumental !!!! up :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
