My daughter got caught by this scam today. Initially they told her she should’ve cancelled within the 14 day period and was not eligible for a refund. Not one to take things lying down she managed to find within the terms and conditions details of the refund policy.
“3. RETURNS, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1 I also understand that I can cancel at any time, subject to the provisions of section 3, without further obligation by calling 0808 189 9650.
3.2 REFUND POLICY. Please call Customer Care at 0808 189 9650 to make arrangement to receive Your refund. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.”
Upon quoting this to the assistant she was put on hold only to then be told a full refund would be made within 5 days.
Will keep an eye on the refund and will also cancel her card once it has been paid.
Lesson learned - hopefully!0 -
Unfortunately i received this product and was totally unaware that direct debits have already have been set up. After reading the forums on this i rang my card supplier who informed me that direct debits have been set up for £89 and £90. These have been stopped and no monies will be taken from my account. I also rang the company on the number on the web page, spoke to Patrick 102 regarding the iforce maxx and rang a different number regarding the Total Cleanse spoke to Patrick 102 ? tried to cancel any agreements with them but was told he couldn't do it until certain dates because of the system, informed him that i will ring on those dates to cancel and if they send me any product they will not receive any payment as my card supplier is aware of the situation and will not make any payments. I asked about sending the trial products back, but i have payed for them £4.99 for each so they belong to me, he agreed so i will keep them. I hope this helps.0

I find it strange that I along with others have fallen for this scam. I like others paid by mastercard and received the products. I have tried to call the number but its not recognised by BT!!!
Surely the major credit card companies must have noticed complaints and surely they can deal with this???
I cant beleive that someone put a message on here from the company and pretending that all is ok.
But when you think if they get only 1,000 mugs like us at a postage cost!! of £5 they make a nice £5k not bad for a web site. I guess we wont be the first and wont be the last.
Wonder if TVs Watchdog would be interested in the story?0 -
The more I use this website, the more value I see it has.0

I to fell for this scam saw it advertised as 4.99 for each item so stupidly thought that it was worth ago!!!!! How wrong was I..I noticed that they had charged me not short of 200 pounds on my next credit card bill.I phoned my credit card company to cancel any future payments but was informed that they couldnt because a credit card is guarrenteed cash.I then called the company who informed me that it was in the terms and conditions,I was lucky because I had not received the next set of pills so he said he would refund me,I received an email for the total cleanse saying that it had been refunded but not for the iforce max so I emailed them, and got an email from them which made no sense...I phoned them numerous times asking if it had been cancelled and they said it had,I asked them to send me an email stating that it had been cancelled and the amounts that they had refunded,I am still waiting!!! I phoned my credit card company today and it has been refunded and they have now put a stop to them taking anymore money. please note that per item it is 89 and 99 per MONTH so get it cancelled asap, hope this helps.bear in mind that I didnt receive the second lot of pills so maybe if you need to tell a white lie thats the one to use, they are scamming people so if I were in that position again I would def say that I hadnt received the next batch, good luck...0

You don’t have to cancel your credit card. You can ask your card provider to stop further payments and they MUST follow your instruction. Here is the extract from the Know Your Rights Guide by the Financial Services Authority:
Cancelling a regular
card payment
When you give your credit or debit card
details to a company and authorise
them to take regular payments from
your account, such as for a gym
membership or magazine subscription,
it is known as a ‘recurring transaction’
or ‘continuous payment authority’.
These are often confused with direct
debits, but do not offer the same
guarantee if the amount or date of the
payment changes.
In most cases, regular payments can
be cancelled by telling the company
taking the payments. However, you
have the right to cancel them directly
with your bank or card issuer by telling
it that you have stopped permission for
the payments. Your bank or card issuer
must then stop them – it has no right to
insist that you agree this first with the
company taking the payments.
Be aware, though, that you will still be
responsible for paying any money that
you owe.

I fell for this scam, twice. Once with iForce MAXX and with Lean UK. Having seen that around£300 has been taken out of my account i have cancelled my card but i was wondering if anyone knew how ir even if i can get any of my money back. As a student who now has become overdrawn any money back would be appreciated!
Thanks

iForce Maxx works by shortening a person’s natural fat burning cycle, getting rid of fat over muscle even on a low calorie diet. Isolate, found in human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), is the driving ingredient in iForce Maxx. Isolate allows stubborn fat reserves from areas like the shoulders, upper arms, hips, thighs and buttocks to be released. The body is able to reshape itself while energy levels, blood pressure, blood sugar and metabolism are restored to normal.
There is a plethora of information about the positive's of HCG out there online.
If the best reference you can give is weightlossproductsinreview.com then I rather doubt there is "a plethora of information about the positive's [why the apostrophe?] of HCG out there online". And what on earth is 'isolate'?
It is clearly a scam. And did you, as a business rep, get permission to post on here promoting your product? I've reported it as inappropriate.0 -
Bearing in mind that pregnancy tests detect raised levels of HCG(human Chorionic gonadotrophin) how the heck would it do anything but make you gain weight?
Can't recall weight loss as a side effect of pregnancy.....:)
Or looking any younger.....;)Wins this year-1 month's supply of Unilever products,2 4oD film rentals, £5 e-bay credit, Goodreads book, Hotel Chocolat egglet.

I have just had to cancel my card as £90 had been taken out by i force maxx without my permission. I stupidly believed in this product and even more stupidly agreed a trial run for 14 days for £4.99 and gave my details online. I never normally do this but considering the hype about this product that i'd seen on facebook and youtube i thought that it might actually work and be trust worthy...websites like these have destroyed my confidence and others around me to ever buy online again. I wish i had noticed this forum before because to be truthful i never take much notice of them, so i thought i'd post my message to hopefully get it across to people that this is probably the biggest con going at the moment!
I noticed that 'Sarah' (who ever she may be) at I force maxx has posted a message about how busy they are. Well Sarah i rang at 08:55am with an american accent robot telling me to ring back at 09:00am when they are open. When i did so at exactly 09:00am the robot came back to tell me that i will not be able to get through as all of their staff were busy! I am shocked that websites like these can go on nowadays and be advertised on facebook especially , this should be banned straight away.0
