i quickly realised this was a scam. And rang my bank.

The bank has cancelled my card but said they can't cancel payments if already been processed.

I've checked my account a couple of days later and 4.99 has been taken from my account, will this mean the further £89 will be stopped or have i caught it in time?

I notice other people have phoned the company up. Could anyone tell me what the call rate is as i notice people have been on the phone for ages.?

    Many Thanks.

And if they do stop the money I'll get slim anyway because I'll not be able to afford any food!!!!!

    Stay fat chaps, its cheaper.

You'll need to ring the support line to cancel. It's an 0808 number (see previous posts), so it's free from a land line. As you say, it can take a while to get through, so it will cost you time, but at least no money.
    Wearing my other one today.

Following on from my earlier post.

Today (Monday) I phoned them and said I received the goods on the weekend and wasnt wanting to the full subscription, I said I had tried the product (I never really), they said no problem, we will cancel the subscription, no more money will be taken, and no more goods will be sent out, I said ok ty, can you send the email to confirm, he said yes you will get it at some point today, I continued to say do I need to send the goods back, he said no as I had tried them and thats what I was ment to do.

I just checked my email and he was true to his word, I have the confirmation email to say my order is cancelled.

I only paid £1.29 for mine as when I was about to leave the site someone came up on chat offering me a discount.

I feel very lucky to have only paid what I did and realised you had to cancel before the 14 days other wise they will take money. Although they could have made it more clear when your signing up.:j:j:j

So my advice to anyone is either dont fall for it or if you have already, then wait for the goods to arrive, leave it a day or so, then call and say you dont want to continue with the subscription all before the 14 days otherwise they will take more money and send you more goods.

I too fell for this but I have just called them on the 0808 number to cancel. I spoke to a lovely chap called Ryan who said he would cancel any future orders straight away and email me to confirm. I have had a cancellation email as promised so I am really happy.
The full number is 0808 189 1278 and it's a free call from a landline. I hope everyone who got caught by this have the same easy ending as i did :j
  • just want to suggest to anybody maybe when we try to buy things online maybe its better to use the prepaid credit card when u can just top up the amount u needed...so the company can not deduct all that big sum of money in ur card...its just a suggestion maybe it can help...thanks
