In my opinion this race is the most uninterested i have ever been to pretty much anything in life.
Why anyone other than with any affiliation to either Oxford or Cambridge is interested in this really confuses me.0 -

You could say this about any sport where two teams compete. Its a traditonal event which tends to be good television as its usually a good contest.
You can appreciate a good sporting contest without having any emotional ties to either teamThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Take the social sport thing out of the equation and I wonder this about most 'sports'
I mean look at it rationaly FootBall for example, a load of people running up and down a field chasing after a round inflated object. Not so much fun is it? Be better if it was a giant beachball perhaps.
And as for cricket and Golf ?!
Rowing seems a lot more fun now :rotfl:
Anyway who invented darts and how?!Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!

Seems he should of been protesting about himself...according to the Daily Mail (I know but I like the laugh) he is...
Privately-educated Trenton Oldfield, from Whitechapel, London, graduated from the elite London School of Economics in 2008 with an MSc in Contemporary Urbanism. He is also a fellow Royal Society of Arts.
According to his profile on LinkedIn, he has worked and volunteered on a number of charities, trusts and community organisations.
Five years ago he helped found This Is Not A Gateway, a non-profit which ‘creates platforms for critical projects and ideas related to cities’, with fellow activist Deepa Naik.
The pair co-fund the organisation out of their own earnings.
On LinkedIn Mr Oldfield describes himself as: ‘Rich, open-minded, multi-disciplinary, efficient, focused, intelligent, honest, unique.’
So a rich spoilt boy who got a elite education and then felt bad so he needed to do charity work for us poor people so we don't feel held back by elitism. Oh please give me a break!0 -
