It turns out OH fell asleep at Euston - numpty!! (I like that word) He fell asleep for over an hour, missed the direct train he was supposed to catch and had to wait until 10pm for the next direct train (there was no point him getting one going into Birmingham because he would have missed the last connecting train out)
Rest assured he has been suitable b*****ked, and is suitably humble and apologetic. He phoned me to ask me what I wanted for dinner, has tidied and hoovered, cleaned the kitchen and did my Avon for me this evening.
At least he did as he was told and did not spend any extra on the Egg card!
So anyway, feeling a lot happier this evening.PigginSkint's debt free diary

When he did the ad earlier in the year they were late telling him. I would imagine that if he is down to the last 2 they will tell him one way or the other.
Keep everything crossed!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi Piggin
Sorry if I came across as judgemental at all in my previous posts to you - I did not mean to.
It's just that I don't like seeing people get taken advantage of. But I realise that I don't know your OH and it seems that he made a genuine mistake by falling asleep the other night. Sometimes I have to remind myself that certain males of the species don't always think the same as us girls and they aren't mind readers we have to tell them we are upset etc ;-)
Anyway I hope he gets the audition he is going for and you get suitably pampered by your OH!0 -

That's all right - no offence taken! Actually when I have been discussing OH with colleagues at work it appears that is a fairly common trait - lack of organisation, inability to multitask etc etc. The male of the species do seem to think differently from us (for those men reading this - this is not necessarily a bad thing O.K.?!).PigginSkint's debt free diary

Having said that though, I have checked my Egg online this morning and there appears to be more transactions than I thought (including £20 taken out of a cashpoint machine) - I think some grilling is required tonight!PigginSkint's debt free diary

the interest charged is extortionate
ive also been thinking that your OH gets to do what he wants during the day ie goto auditions, therefore doesnt have a day job to pay the bills
couldnt he get an evening/night job then?
i do what i want during the day ie look after my children but then i goto work in the evening and clean up after really messy private schooled children(dont get me started!) so i can pay my debts off
i stacked them up so i dont think its fair that i should expect my OH's hard earned money to pay off my debtI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -

couldnt he get an evening/night job then? That is definitely something we have been looking at - also weekend work would be ideal.
