Thanks pania - I think that's what I am leaning towards myself!
The head is behaving itself at the moment, I am glad to say, but I have run out of evening primrose oil (helps with the hormonal element of my headaches). I am hoping my Vegetarian Society membership card might arrive soon so I can get a discount from Holland and Barratt.PigginSkint's debt free diary

Hi All
Well the decision has been made – this morning I have signed up to Weight Watchers Online. It seems good value for the benefit (both financially and personally) I will get out of it. This has led to another decision – I am going to reveal how much I weigh. OK then, drum roll……
This morning I weighed 14 stone 11 pounds
My weight tracking day is Friday so I am going to be brave and reveal on here how much I weigh at my weigh-in every week. That should focus my attention somewhat! I can just hear my inner voice now saying ‘Step away from the bag of crisps – remember you can have to tell your fellow DFWers on Friday how much you weigh!’
I had a really busy and long day yesterday. I was at work for my normal time of 8:15am and didn’t leave until 5.45pm. I got home at about 7:15pm (I forget what the exact time was). I had to go to Aldi on the way home and to the Co-op after I got home to get the ingredients for DS for his cooking lesson at school today. Luckily I managed to persuade OH and DS to go out and get my Avon books in for me before I got home – I did not fancy the idea of walking in the house at 7:15pm only to have to go straight out again to do Avon!
I also had to make a cake last night – not something I would normally do at 10pm on a Monday evening! One of our colleagues at work is retiring today so a few of us have made cakes to supplement the buffet (I am not saying our department are tight-fisted but draw your own conclusions!!).
I am hoping not to be too late going home today. Tomorrow and Thursday are going to be long days and I could do without having another one today! But as I shall be away from my desk for 2 days and also busy on Friday there is lots I must do today.
Tonight I really must do my Avon order. I would normally do it tomorrow but as I should be home today a lot earlier than I will be tomorrow I think it will be a good idea to do it today.
As I shall be online tonight anyway, I think I may actually do my jobs re Capital One and home insurance. Stranger things have happened.
Anyway, better get on with some work. Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi All
Well I am back at my desk after a nightmareish week dealing with exams. Hoping to leave early today but as I have to go to a meeting at 2pm it won’t be very early – hopefully before 4pm though.
I have been paid – hoorah! :j
OH still hasn’t set up his internet banking. Grrrr!!! I got very upset about it last night so hopefully he might actually do it today. However, it is looking unlikely that he will actually get some bills paid before Monday so my figures for 1st October won’t be as good as I thought they were going to be. I think he needs a good slapping!! Or perhaps me getting upset last night will be the guilt trip that was required! :rotfl:
I went onto the Weight Watchers site this morning to record my weight today and it wouldn’t let me do it as I have already recorded my weight this week so I have got to wait until next Friday. I weighed myself this morning and I have lost one pound since Tuesday so I am now 14 stone 10 pounds. Not quite sure how I have managed that because I have not exactly been trying this week as I have been working such long hours and been so busy and tired that I have just been eating what I can when I can.
Tomorrow I really must do my house insurance as my renewal date is on Monday – I just haven’t had the time to sort it out this week. Luckily I did get round to reading my policy schedule so I know that I have got up to 30 days after the renewal date to cancel it without it causing any problems.
My latest free trial DVD rental has now finished – I cancelled it the other day and I have had an email this morning to say they have received the DVDs. Of the last 2 DVDs we had, we never got round to watching one of them and only OH watched the other because I fell asleep and we couldn’t hang onto it any longer because it had to go back.
I realised the other day that I have got a library book that I have had for ages that I have forgotten to return or renew – I think that is about 2 weeks overdue! Oh heck! That’s going to cost me.
We have just been invited out for Chinese tomorrow evening because OH’s brother’s brother-in-law (did you follow that?!) is visiting – obviously we will have to pay for ourselves but at least we will be getting a lift. It has made me feel rather guilty at the number of takeaways etc we have had in the last month – we are very very naughty. Now that my busy period (or ‘silly season’ as we call it here) is nearing an end I might actually do some more home-cooking! Trouble is OH is very naughty and keeps suggesting we have a takeaway or eat out and I am very naughty and don’t say no.
We will try to be good from now on.
One good money-saving thing I did today was to resist the temptation to buy lunch today and forced myself to make a sandwich to bring with me. I was very tired this morning and the temptation was very strong, I can tell you!
Anyway suppose I must get on with some work. Have a good weekend everyone if I don’t post later.PigginSkint's debt free diary
