It does indeed. I think that's another reason I have been saving mine. I'm not sure how often you can do this or if they will only let you do it once.

I have a new budget plan which goes into effect on Thursday next week so hopefully I'll stick to it and not need to do something like that. Well that's the plan anyway!

  • Well I have now updated my signature – I am not entirely pleased with it because I have had to cut yet more bits out of it because they said it was too long! I might just put the bits I wanted to include in another post. I have taken the targets out at the moment but that is partly because I want to see what my figures are like on 1st October before I make any firm decisions about what my targets will be.

The total credit card figure is bigger than I would have liked but not entirely unexpected – see previous posts. I have just entered my last figures on spreadsheet to come up with this total. It would appear that nearly all of my repayments were made after 1st September so obviously this makes it look worse than it is. To be honest, I think these figures are a bit messy but it doesn’t help that it has taken me nearly 2 weeks to work out my 1st September figures! We’ll see what it looks like on 1st October – that is likely to be a much more accurate reflection of the current situation.

My brain appears to have gone to mush at the moment so I think I will update again later!

I have only done it once but I am planning to try again just before Christmas - because I will have made 6 consecutive repayments. I will let you know how I get on.

By the way I have just had closer look at your sig - well done on the weight loss. :T I could do with losing about that amount!

Sad thing is I still have about 2 stone more to go (Apparently although noone believes me when I tell them!) I've been a bit static recently, but so has my debt.... maybe they are linked somehow.

If it's any consolation it means that you are still about 2 stone closer to your ideal weight than I am! It sounds like you are like me - most people don't realise how heavy I am and are shocked if I tell them!
