Thank Crunchie it’s Friday!! (I can say that because I haven’t given up chocolate for Lent – only crisps!)

I seem to have done myself a mischief today – I have pulled something in my back. The weird thing, so has my colleague who I share an office with. We are both doing a good line in hobbling today!

I was planning on going to Aldi on the way home today, but I don’t know whether I will manage it – luckily I went there yesterday to get a few essentials, so we would cope if I didn’t go again today. Having said that, I really don’t think I am going to manage to walk home today – I shall have to get the bus. I could sort of go to Aldi on the way to the bus stop, so perhaps I will go after all.

What else is there to report on? Oh yes, I don’t think I have mentioned it yet but I did my Avon order online the other night. Not as big as the last one but still not bad – I can’t remember the exact amount off the top of my head, but I know it was under £200, perhaps about £170.

I shall be going to my Dad’s tomorrow afternoon as it is my little nephew’s first birthday party – there is a sort of unspoken agreement between me and my stepsister not to buy presents, so at least it won’t cost me anything! Might get a card though.

OH went to London again yesterday for another audition – this one was for another commercial. Hope he gets it – I don’t mind him doing commercials as it is quite good money (when it eventually comes) for very little work and he doesn’t have to give up any of his other work to do them.

Right, I suppose I had better do some more work before it is time to hobble off home!

    Bye all!!

    Hi All

I did go to Aldi yesterday and I did go home on the bus - oh my God! The first of these was not a good idea and the second of these was a very good idea. I was in so much pain! I don't know what on earth I did to my back yesterday, but boy, I knew about it!

As soon as DS had been picked up by his Dad I took myself to bed with my electric heat pad. This morning when I woke up I was surprised how much better it felt - not right, but better! It keeps twinging just to remind me to be careful! So I am taking it easy - I needed to go into town today so I went on the bus.

I have sold another book on Amazon which I had to take to the post office. I was a little concerned about how much the postage would be as was going to Belgium. It wasn't cheap but I have still made a profit of about £6, which I am pleased about.

We shall be going to my Dad's shortly as it is my little nephew's first birthday party. I had to laugh when I was shopping for a card earlier - I looked at one with a badge on and on the back it said 'not suitable for children under 36 months'. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi All

1st March so time to update my spreadsheets and my sig. Unfortunately, because of OH putting his travel expenses on the Egg card my total credit card debt is actually slightly above £22K instead of slightly below, which is what I was aiming to achieve by today. Not best pleased!!

O.K. by tomorrow, it will be below £22K but that is not the point - I have got to put a £22 something figure in my sig rather than a £21 something figure. Humph!!

O.K. so the scores on the doors are:

    Total Credit Card Debt
    3/8/06 (LBM) = £23,646.22
1/9/07 (highest amount, following transfer of windows finance to Halifax card) = £25,104.07
    1/2/09 = £22,479.58
    1/3/09 = £22,007.39

    LTSB Loan
    3/8/06 (LBM) = £9,746.76
    1/2/09 = £5,699.26
    1/3/09 = £5,547.33

    Total Catalogues
    3/8/06 (LBM) = £1,060.92
    1/2/09 = £53.82
    1/3/09 = £33.82

    Total Non-Mortgage Debt
    3/8/06 (LBM) = £41,680.59
    1/2/09 = £33,232.66
    1/3/09 = £32,588.54

    Hi All

The Avon delivery came this morning at about 7:15am, so luckily I was still at home – it is such a pain when it arrives after I have left for work as I can’t guarantee anyone will be there to take it in.

OH had another audition in London yesterday. Luckily though, it was at a time of day when he could travel off peak so didn’t cost too much money. There is a new thing on the trains to London from our station – super off peak return costs £15. Bargain! And OH was travelling at the right time yesterday to be able to use it. The only problem was that this was yet another one that he had to put on the Egg card. I do hope we are not starting down that slippery slope yet again!

OH is doing his office duty at his agency today, so I think this is yet more travel he has put on the Egg card – eek! He was late going as there were loads of trains cancelled because of a fatality somewhere.

OH has also not given me all of his latest contribution to the bills - £40 instead of £95 This is because he is going to pay some money into his bank account to make sure the standing order payment to the DCA handling his student loan debt doesn’t bounce. I suppose, at least, that it shows he is thinking ahead!! He will be paying me the rest of what he owes me when he has got it.

I have set up a separate sheet on my finances worksheet to list how much OH currently owes me – mainly copied from the ‘latest transactions’ on the Egg card online account management. I have emailed it to OH just so that he is aware of exactly how much he owes me. He has been ‘reminded’ not to let it get out of hand. Watch this space!

DS is off school today – he has got a really nasty cough so I suggested that he should stay at home. He didn’t argue! This is his first day off sick in years - I can’t remember how many years but I think it has got to be at least 4! He is due to go to his Dad’s tonight, so I phoned the Ex at work to tell him and to suggest that he picks DS up on his way home from work. I will see how he is by the time he gets back to me on Thursday and if he is no better I suppose I will have to take him to the doctors.

    Tonight’s jobs will be :

    · Bag up Avon order which arrived this morning
    · Put away Sainsburys shopping when it arrives
    · Do daily scratch card
    · Do banana lotto
    · Check out any free bingo games – looks like there might be some on Foxy tonight so I shall have to investigate whether I am eligible to play.

Right, I suppose I really ought to get on with some work – bye all!!

    Hi All

Funny old day today - one of those days that just seemed to fly by without it seeming like I had got much done, although in reality I did!

I managed to get a vast majority of my Avon deliveries done this evening, which is good! This means I have got some money I can pay into my bank account tomorrow. I should be able do most of the remaining deliveries tomorrow, plus one on Saturday.

I have just phoned DS at his Dad's - he is much better today and went to school today. Apparently he missed a crucial exam yesterday so he will have to do that sometime. I said that it was perhaps as well he didn't do it yesterday - he wouldn't have done very well if he was feeling poorly.

I am now up to a total of £2.00 on the free daily scratch cards - a little way to pay out then! Quidco money went into my bank account today - £4.09. Not much I know but it all helps.

Not much else to report today really.

    Bye all!
