    Hi PS

    Am new to your diary.

Re: the late payment on your CC, regardless of the fee that you were charged, worth checking but they may have removed your 0% deal too as you have defaulted on the agreement.

Sorry don't mean to be the bearer of bad news and you prob know this already!!

Hi there and welcome to my diary! Yes my 0% deal has gone but this card will be cleared soon anyway - by the end of the month - so I am not worrying too much about it.

Thanks skint_spice! Yes I think plagiarism might the correct term here - that bit is a direct lift from my first post on this thread.

    Hi All

    Thank crunchie it's Friday!

A very busy day at work but quite a good day money-wise:
    • Amazon money went into my account today = £2.87 profit
    • I have reached payout level on Valued Opinions at last = £10 Amazon gift voucher
    • I have also reached payout level on Lightspeed = £5 Amazon voucher
    • OH gave me his bills contribution for this week, plus part of what he already owed -which means that I had some money to pay into my account today.
My slightly healthier cashflow situation means that I can now increase my daily payments to credit cards to a more reasonable level - instead of a few pence every day I should be able to start paying a few pounds every day again.

OH is working all weekend (good news!) which unfortunately means I am going to have to do his Betterware deliveries for him tomorrow (bad news!). I will forgive him this once because he will actually be earning some money!

On Monday he has to go to London again for another audition - it is a big production so should pay well...if he gets it. We will have to wait and see.

I think that is all he news for now.

    Bye all!!

    Hi All

Can't believe how long it has been since I last updated!

Work has been horrendously busy and stressful. I have been really really tired and not actually feeling very well - can't decide whether it is a bad cold or the start of hayfever.

Avon delivery came yesterday so I have been out today to start deliveries - tomorrow I will put books out and try to do most of the rest of the deliveries. Tomorrow I will pay some of the money into my bank account -I need to because the Capital One bill payment goes out and as things stand I haven't got enough to pay it.

The best news at the moment is that OH went for an audition on Monday and got the job. I can't say too much at the moment - waiting for him to sign on the dotted line - but it is a biggie and we are very excited! :j :j :j

It does mean that I won't see much him for the next few months, but it'll be worth it for the money he will be earning!!

I think that's all the news for now.

    Bye all!

    Hi All

A quickie post before I get stuck into some work! As yesterday was the first of the month, it was the day to update my figures and my sig.

OH gave me a cheque last week for the money he owed me - £400. It finally cleared in my bank account yesterday – oh if only it had cleared a day earlier! The money enabled me to make some biggie payments to 2 of my credit cards – Evil Egg and Vile Virgin! But as those payments went out of my account today, it was too late for my 1st April figures. Oh well, the 1st May figures should look pretty good!

Anyway, time for the scores on doors:

    Total Credit Cards
    1/4/09 £21807.59
    1/3/09 £22007.39
(Highest = £25104.07 – this was after I transferred my windows finance to a credit card)

    Total Catalogues
    1/4/09 £22.82
    1/3/09 £33.82
    (Highest = £1060.92)

    LTSB Loan
    1/4/09 £5391.80
    1/3/09 £5547.33
    (Highest = £12175.11)

    Total Non-Mortgage Debt
    1/4/09 £32222.21
    1/3/09 £32588.54
    (Highest = £41680.59)

    Achievements:
    · Total Credit Card Debt is now under £22K
Umm – that’s it at the moment! But more importantly, I am very close to achieving the following:
    · Balance on Egg card is almost £0
    · Balance on Virgin card is almost £0
    · All being well, balance on LTSB card should be £0 by the end of the month
    · My total credit card debt should have reduced by 15% by the end of the month
    · My total credit card debt should have reduced to below £21K by the end of the month
    · My total non-mortgage debt should have reduced to below £32K by the end of the month
    · My total non-mortgage debt should have reduced by £10K by the end of the month
    · My total non-mortgage debt should have reduced by 25% by the end of the month

In addition, I am on course to achieve the following before September
    · To have reduced my total credit card debt to below £20K
    · The balance on my LTSB loan should drop to below £5K
    · To have reduced my total credit card debt by 20%
    · To have reduced my total non-mortgage debt by 30%

I have managed to colour in quite a lot of squares already this year. Things are looking up!

    Bye for now!
