After reading this thread my Experian credit score dropped from 595 to 590.
Maybe its smarter than we think.0 -
I was in Tesco last night and I'm sure the blighters made a profit out of me.
I also had lunch with an old friend. We were charged £12 for food which had ingredients that they could have bought for less than a couple of quid!
I then filled up with petrol on the way home. Now don't get me effing started ...
I really do think there are bigger things in life than the CRAs charging for their services. Doesn't every business do exactly the same?0 -
I just posted this on another thread responding to a similar comment by this thread's creator...
"A basic one-off report is £2. Many people use the CreditExpert free trial to get a free report. People who like the range of CreditExpert benefits - and it's much more than a copy of your credit report - pay £14.99 per month for the current package. We also give away tens of thousands of free credit reports each year to 1) victims of identity fraud and 2) people seeking advice about umanageable debt from a free advice provider like Citizens Advice, National Debtline or CCCS."
If people don't value CreditExpert then they don't have to use it. You'll always find a link to the £2 statutory report on our homepage.

Don't get me effing started on fuel and don't get me effing started on me going to work to pay for effing people who can't be effing bothered to get a job or people claiming disabilities when there's nothing effing wrong with them, or me paying £640 a month rent for For my house when my neighbour but 2 gets their payed for because he can't find a job, I am back to work Monday After having 2 weeks off work to do my 40+ hours a week, which I will then Have to stop and put £50 worth of fuel in my car to last me the week, so I believe I have some sort of right to make the odd complaint do you, oh forgot and council tax.0 -
What a nasty comment.
How very selective of you meer53
BugsyBrowne has the right to defend himself especially after lisyloo's obnoxious little rant. You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0 -
It made me chuckle
But not half as much as the retort :rotfl: :rotfl:BugsyBrowne wrote: »Thank you.0 -
Well considering its our data they hold and they were set up basically by the banks without any permission or imput from the general public I think they should have to provide a free report once a year on request.
They all have close links to financial bodies and debt collectors and is just one more way for the banks et al to hold the public under the cosh and exploit us.
