1) Bring back Double Points: you threw out the baby with the bath water with that one.
2) Don't sneakily jack up the price before you put the item on multi-buy / bogof.
ps don't claim it was an "admin. error" when you are caught out, it's patronising.
3) Have a seperate dedicated customer services desk, instead of having to join the cigs and lottery queue.
That will do for now.
Danny.
completely agree with this. From experiencing one store with everything together to another with it separate. It's a no brainy.
Oh and double points too!VoucherMan wrote: »:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sorry but isn't this in the wrong forum.
Surely it would be better off in Funny Money

What I want to know is what are they going to do with the old branded stuff? Let it run out naturally, bin it or have a clearance sale...0

I think it looks better but agree that it doesn't make me want to buy it anymore then I used to. If anything, the Value range used to stand out from its other rivals, now it looks the same.
Let's see how effective this change really is, hoping that they realise its a flop and give us back our double points for food and petrol!!!
The Morrisons "value" range is now "M savers". They are also using the M as part of a family of branding, eg "M kitchen".0 -
I was in my local tesco this morning and the jams and honey has the new labels on just behind the old value labels, it blends in with all the other labels now, makes it harder to find, not like the old label which really stood out, I will keep an eye on the prices tho!0

Pricing is the sole focus for Tesco but not for lowering them. It is the multitude of smoke and mirror tricks they are employing to trick their customers into believing they are getting cheap prices that gets up people's noses.
OK so far they may not have delivered low prices, but they have seemed to make pricing the sole focus recently without a care for quality.0 -
Our Tesco had the new rebranded Value Ketchup, 21p and low and behold in a squeezy bottle. Not only that you now get 30g extra for the same money. I'm sure the price will rise soon though.
Bacon rebranded, same price and fat content etc, same with the chicken breasts. Lots of Value lines being pushed on the aisle ends, presumably to get rid of the stock!0 -
i have to say i love the new branding, i know it doesnt make a difference to the contents, or maybe it will as they are suggesting, but its less in your face. I do believe that some people dont buy value because the old packaging screams budget from your basket, i dont care about that and i shop online anyway, but it does look nicer in my cupboards. Hopefully, its not a ploy to put prices up, as some have suggested.0

The only value items we buy are lemonade and soya milk. I agree that they have rebranded as there is stagima among some people buying value. Someone at the beginning of this thread mentioned the value stuff being difficult to find online I have experienced this if you type lemonade in it brings up every brand but value. I have to type in the full name everyday value diet lemonade for it to come up very annoying0

You only have to type in value lemonade for it to come up, but annoying anyway that it does not come up otherwise. I find it annoying when i type in mussels and does not bring up the product i want, which is listed mussel meat, i sometimes wrack my brain thinking whats it called again.Someone at the beginning of this thread mentioned the value stuff being difficult to find online I have experienced this if you type lemonade in it brings up every brand but value.
