    Is it really ending?
  • For me, Tesco's dropped the big one when they got rid of Double Points.

    This is just window dressing.

It might make these items harder to find online rather than just typing "value" into the search box.

Get your act together Tesco's no wonder you aren't performing well.

    Danny.

I was just about to post this!!

Wonder how much the prices are going up to cover 'rebranding'?

I don't belive 'Everyday Value will provide products that taste better, look better and are healthier still at the same great price'

Not a chance they will keep the same prices, how much does it cost them to rebrand? From design concept to production, we are paying for this x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Tesco must really be in trouble, if the best they can do is change the logo.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I am not a regular Tesco shopper but as a low carber, I am wondering what the 'healthier' means. If it means reducing sugar and salt, great. Some tomato soups and pasta sauces for example have so much sugar in that I can taste it. But if healthier means reducing the fat then the carbs will go up. Low fat everything is not necessarily healthy if our carb intake shoots up.

The packaging looks fancier - but will it now taste as good as Sainsburys basics range?

Should be plenty of bargains as they phase out the value range
  • I wish they would invest in dropping the prices (for real, not through the "price drop" scam), not in new packaging. Improving the packaging of the value range does not make any sense: I don't buy it because the looks fancy but because it's cheap and does the job in most cases.
